Guest guest
Namaste Manomani, You are welcome. Any time there are question, feel free to write in, be they long or short. When wearing 13 or 14 mukhi rudrakshas, other mukhi beads can be worn together with them. They can be worn with an 8 mukhi bead or strung together with it. And later if you wish, with a 9 mukhi. When you have collected several mukhi beads in sequence, say from 1 mukhi to 14, you can have them strung together as one Mala. Indeed the inclination to wear rudraksha has something to do with our past lives. Its mentioned in ancient Sanskrit texts like the Shiva Purana that the inclination is due to blessings of Lord Shiva from preceding births. How nice to hear of your experience at your local Ganesh Temple. What the woman pujari and the priest said is very true. This means they would know some of the holy scriptures about rudraksha. Those Hindu priests from other temples who told you that you can't wear rudrakshas because you're a woman, were wrong. What they said was based on ignorance and superstitious beliefs. This show they've not read holy scriptures about rudraksha and thought women can't wear them.
