Jaya Guru Datta,

 

Sri Datta Yogi Raja garu would be conducting Kriya Yoga classes on September 19

and 20 at Columbus Indian Temple, Columbus, GA.  Interested can contact me at

706-662-3828 for details and registration.   

 

Columbus is 100 miles south of Atlanta Airport.  Directions to reach are

 

1) Take exit 21 on 85 South towards Columbus from ATL airport.

2) Take exit 10 towards Macon (80 East).

3) Take exit 6 (Schomburg Rd – Blackmon Rd) and turn right on Schomburg Rd.

(First Stop Sign).  After one mile, Temple is on the left side. 

 

The Course dates are: September 19, and 20, 2009 (Saturday and Sunday) and  $

50 fees. 

September 19, 2009:

09.00 a.m. – 12.00 Noon:        Morning session    - Introduction and

Theory of Kriya Yoga

02.00 p.m. – 05.00 p.m.:          Afternoon session - Pranayama

techniques and practice

September 20, 2009:

09:00 a.m. – 12.00 Noon:        Morning Session     - Pranayama

techniques and practice         

02:00 p.m. – 05:00 p.m.           Afternoon Session  - Pranayama

practice,  Questions &  Answers and Closing. 

Note: If we take a shorter period for lunch, then we may start the afternoon

session earlier and hopefully finish earlier.

Lunch and snacks (fruits) would be provided. 

On Saturday, during lunch a 35 minute movie on Yoga will be shown.

On Sunday during lunch, we are planning to provide a presentation on YOGIC DIET.

Clothes:  Everyone should wear loose fitting comfortable white clothes,

preferably of natural fiber eg. Cotton or wool.  

White upper cloth: Everyone should wear a white upper cloth, about 2 metres

(21/2 or 3 yrds) in length to wrap around the chest area. 

Mat or seat: Everyone should bring a mat or seat made of natural fiber (cotton,

wool or khus grass mat): around 2 feet x 2 feet.  

Also you may want to bring a small cushion, such as a small pillow for your

comfort.

Bring a Notebook and pen.
