Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM Dear All, I was reading a posting on the internet on the Leelas of Sri Krishna Bhagawan; the writer explains that Bhagawan Krishna was not actually a makhan chor (a thief who was stealing butter) and that we should interpret it as meaning that the act of stealing was one of His Leelas (pranks). I agree totally with the writer; teasing was one of the predominant characteristics of Bhagawan Krishna. He used to hide the clothes of the milkmaids too and this, when they were having their ablution in the river. It is yet another example of His Divine Leelas. If we were to tell the story of Radhey Krishna to children, it is very important for us to explain to them that very much like Shiv Parvati, Radhey Krishna too did not have any lustful desire. Their teasing is a demonstration of Pure Love, Innocent Love. God, unlike humans, does not pay heed to the body. Bhagawan Baba too very often teases like Bhagawan Krishna. We call his teasing `the Leelas of Sai'. I have experienced one such Leelas which I wish to share with other gopis. The first time I visited Prasanti I was given accommodation in the dormitory. To attend the Morning Prayer, many including me, were having an icy cold bath at three in the morning. Then one day I found out that the tap water was less cold in the afternoon, even warm. Simultaneously, I was reproaching Our Sweet Baba that water was running day and night on His gigantic Shiv idol on the hill and we foreign devotees did not have enough water for a proper bath. The next day, when everybody had gone to the Stadium to listen to Baba's discourse, I joyfully entered one of the small cubicles to have a nice shower. Prudent, I first checked that there was water in the shower; yes, water was running; I closed the shower; then I filled the plastic bucket under the tap. With the bucket water I wet my naked body and my head; I applied my shampoo and soaped my body and my face. Alas! When I opened the shower, there was no water! I ran my hand to the tap- No water! Not a drop! "Baba!" I yelled "Is this one of your pranks?" as I stood there, in distress, covered with soap suds from head to toe. Suddenly, Premaswarupa, water splashed on my face as Baba bathed me under a warm and splendid shower. Cascades of water run from my head to my toe just like the water which ran daily on Bhagawan Baba's Shiv. This is one of the sweetest Leelas of Our Sai Mukunda I have ever experienced.
