Hello All-

 

Based on the emails received till now, there seems to be a lot of interest in

the Vedanta program next year.  Within the last few hours we seem to have about

60 people who have an expressed an interest in attending the program.  That is

really nice to see.  I just want to bring to the devotees attention one thing

that I forgot to mention in my previous email.  It is that, Sri. Swamiji wants

all Vedanta program attendees to also attend the Guru Purnima program next

year.  Just as this year, Sri. Swamiji would require all His devotees attend the

Guru Purnima program next year. This is important and please bear this in mind

as you make plans to attend the Vedanta program next year.

Hello-

 

With Sri. Swamiji's Grace, the Datta Yoga Center USA - Chicago Chapter is making

plans to host a 5-7 days Vedanta Progarm in Chicago.  Sri. Swamiji will be

conducting the classes and He has intructed the class size be limited to 300

people.  Sri. Swamiji has conducted similar classes in Europe, but we are not

sure if such a program was ever held in the Americas.  This may be the first

such event in the Americas.

 

This program is planned for after the Guru Purnima functions next July in

Dallas. Guru Purnima next year is on July 7th.  So the Vendata program is

tentatively being planned to start the following week. The actual dates will be

finalized later in consultation with Mysore Ashram.  Information on registration

fees, location etc would be sent out later. 

 

With this email we are gauging interest devotees would have in attending the

Vedanta program.  The registration would be on a first come first served basis. 

Please respond back to chicagovedanta2009@ gmail.com at your earliest of your

interest in attending the program.
