Guru Purnima Program Updates, Concert, Hotel Reservations, Bhajan Competitions

We are writing this letter to update you on Guru Purnima

celebrations:

 

1) Hotel Reservations:

---------------------

Devotees have booked ONLY 60 rooms so far at

Embassy suites, and DYC will have to pay for remaining rooms, if they are not

booked by June 1st.    We are expecting

at least 3 rooms per center to be booked. 

If devotees from your center already booked there, please let us know so we can

request Embassy Suites to count them towards our count.

We do have negotiated rate of $79/night at Holiday Inn (thanks to Harish Patel)

for about 50 rooms with breakfast effective 7th July. We are working with other

hotels in the area towards discounted rate for DYC.

 

2. Concert Tickets:

Must be reserved as soon as possible. We are not approaching local residents to

acquire tickets until all out of town devotees who are coming to attend Guru

Purnima celebrations are given the chance to acquire them. We do not want to

disappoint the devotees. They need to reserve their tickets immediately.

3) BHAJANA MANJARI (Bhajan Competition)

------------------

Bhajana Manjari is proud to welcome all the Music groups from all over the

Country to participate in this Nationwide Cultural Competition on July 6th, 2009

at Embassy Suites during the Guru Purnima Celebrations & Hanuman Mahotsav in

Dallas.

 

Datta Yoga Centers and Satsangh groups are encouraged to participate and sing

Swamiji's Bhajans. There are some guidelines to follow for this competition, so

please read them before you register.
