How Baba blessed me on a very special day.

Sairam Dear family,

I have been basking in the marvel of an incident in my life for a week. I could not get out of the trance of what happened. Today I want to share it with you all, the family which has been with me since the conception of this group. The family whose prayers and blessings have always been with me and my family. Let me tell you, it is because of your blessings and prayers that I am able to carry on in life with BABA's name. Your experiences, writings and urge to hold on to guru even in the face of trauma has kept me going and will continue to do so. I bow to BABA in all of you, who have been a source of inspiration, guidance and praying selflessly for everybody. Thank you.

The incident: I turned forty, on 15th of August, thanks to you for your wishes and prayers. This being a milestone year, my husband decided to throw a party. I was not up to facing people. I have been going through very rough patch in my life since 2003, with one incident after another crumbling my strength. I almost lost hope and faith in BABA, if it were not for this group and the sai family that kept me going. In 40 years of my life, BABA has made me distrust the so called near and dear and learn to trust HIM and none else. Whatever happens is for our own good is proved true practically in my life. BABA made sure that I moved away from false relationships and get closer to truth and those relationship HE created for me. My husband pleaded that it is time we have some celebration in our life and get out of the shell we built around us against unwanted elements. According to my usual practice I asked BABA's permission if He wanted this party to go ahead through Satcharita. I got chapter 6 about Ram Navmi celebrations. I took it as HIS blessings and agreed to my husbands suggestion saying that we would combine our sons birthdays too, one turned 15 and another 10 years this year. First invitation I sent out to my Master seeking HIS blessings on 15th of August, as that day was Vara Lakshmi pooja (celebrated in Andhra) and secondly for HIM to attend the birthday party on 16th of August.

I took time off on 15th of August, I did the Lakshmi pooja early in the morning sought by husbands and mothers blessings. I was in front of the house cleaning the leaves as guests would be coming the next day. Around 2:00PM in the after, the postee drove right up the driveway towards me. We had a casual chat about weather and exchanged pleasantries. He handed me couple of mails and then said I had a registered post as well. I thought it would be from the leasing company from whom I leased the car. I was handed a big A4 size envelop. I signed and looked at the envelop it had a red label "Tested under Quarantine". I wonder what was it for it to be tested and opened the envelope, I found "Heritage of Shirdi Sai" Quarterly magazine. I forgot about it completely and it was delayed for a long time and delivered to me only on 15th of August and right into my hands as a blessing from BABA, the almighty Master Himself on 15th itself. I was thrilled and told my mother and husband as what I wished and how I got it. I placed it in my pooja room. The next day, I had friends from Sydney visit me for the party also as it was Rakhi poornami day. The house was filled with my well wishers and BABA given relatives as my brothers and sisters. We exchanged Rakhis for the brothers and gave sweets. One of my friends, she got out Raksha threads which she bought in Shirdi when she was there earlier this year. She tied these raksha to everybody. I was busy organising other things. She was short of one Raksha, we were two of us, I did not see what it was, then the other friend said, "you can give me this raksha in Sydney after we return, tie it to Anitha now". I extended my hand and she tied it. It had BABA's aashirvaad trinket with beads and red thread through it. The unexpected visit of BABA through my friends, their kindness and thoughts are HIS inspiration alone. I bow to BABA in them for being the instruments of BABA in showering HIS blessings on me.

I asked BABA for HIS blessings and got them. I asked HIS protection for all my family members and all of us had HIS raksha on our hands, HIS protection on us to get us through our hard times and gives us peace. It dawned on me that everybody who is born has to go through good times and bad times. I do not say my bad days are over, but I know BABA is there carrying me on HIS shoulders and gives me strength to balance my karma. My love, faith in Baba is strengthened with every passing incident, I only pray that He give me patience too.

Sairam Anithaji,

I am so thrilled after reading your mail again & again.What i feel is

Our baba is going to take you to a higher plane by giving you His

blessings on your wonderful birthday.

Secondly as we read in Satcharitha that doubts and difficulties

surround us, just to move us and confirm our faith.We are tested as

it were.If we only hold on steadily to Baba,with full faith and

continue our endeavours, our efforts will be ultimately crowned with

success.

Here again I quote the wordings from Satcharitha, " All our

difficulties that we face in our life certainly increase our non-

attachment to sense objects,and make us quite indifferent to

pleasures and pains, and lead us onward on the spiritual path. "

We all should have firm faith in our beloved Baba and continue our

worldly duties. Your incident is a very good example for all of us.

On this 40th birthday I pray to Baba that he takes you deeper in your

spiritual journey and reach your ultimate goal(Self realisation)

Sairam Rama garu,

Thank you for your blessings. I am not sure if I am worthy enough to reach higher planes at all. I am yet to be qualified as a human and show true humane qualities. But yes, I can say that I am fortunate for HE taught me things in practical way and made me more dependent on HIM and strengthened my faith. There are a number of times when I almost gave up and said "to hell with BABA" but He like a loving father, forgave me and showed Me HIS love. I still complain and whinge about things that is my role as I am HIS child, and I am sure HE still forgives me puts me in right path always. We are all in the same path learning and marching ahead through each others experiences.
