Guest guest
Sairam, Happy BABA's day to you all with HIS choicest blessings be on each one of us and our loved ones. BABA is Karunamayi, Kamadhenu and Kalpatharuvu, as described in Satcharita. He is merciful forgives our mistakes like a loving mother, He fulfills our wishes and forever bestows us with blessings and his grace. I am sure as BABA's children we all have experienced His grace at some stage in our life. Recall the unexplained moments when you wanted HIM in some function, wedding, festival, pooja, and There HE came in the form of a photgraph, uninvited guests, a begger insisting for your offerings. It is non but BABA. He listens to any loving call and comes running even before we finish call HIM. He knows our heart wish and acts on it even before we spell it out. Here is one of my experience which I may or may not have shared with you, so please bear with me. I was in India for 2 and half months recently. On 21st of January 2008 it was my youngers son's 10th birthday. I was in my beloved fathers house. When my dad was alive he celebrated my older son's 10th birthday in his house, so I wanted to do the same for my younger son, knowing that I would have my fathers blessings. Like any other sai follower, I sought BABA's blessings and wanted to perform Homam and Satyanarayana pooja inviting BABA, friends and relatives. It was improptu decision and called neighbours and relatives and went and bought pooja material a day berfore. That was the day when Srivalli akka and Leeladhar garu came to my house and I had the pleasure of spending time with them. Next day the pooja was going on, had my relis and friends come in. My husband and I were on the pooja. It was emotional moment for me as it was first pooja in my fathers house in presence of my mother without my dad. All of a sudden, these uncle and aunty who purchased flat from my father in 2003 came. They heard about dad's passing away and wanted to see mum. They looked divine, uncle does lot of work in Dilshuknagar Sai BABA's temple. They are ardent BABA devotees, that day monday they both fast. I was overwhelmed to see them. I knew it was BABA as His beloved children came to bless me. I fell at their feet and sought their blessings and expressed my delight in seeing them. I did not invite them, they invited themselves. They had only sweets and went away as they said they do not eat any food on that day. Being BABA's devotees I told them the reason why I was so excited seeing them, I said I invited BABA, they both came on the day to bless my family. Only BABA does such things. Humble as they were, they said it is BABA driving everything. It was eventful day for us and my son. He had plenty of blessings, and the evening we spent in singing bhajans. Very different day for my son, who would normally spend with his friends that day he spent with all elders and getting their blessings. Call out to BABA, invite HIM and HE will come running.. Here is the message of the week.. Mrs.Deo's Udyapan Ceremony Mr.B.V.Deo was a Mamlatdar at Dahanu (Thana District). His mother had observed 25 or 30 different vows and a Udyapan (concluding) ceremony in connection therewith was to be performed. This ceremony included the feeding of 100 or 200 Brahmins. Mr.Deo fixed a date for the ceremony and wrote a letter to Bapusaheb Jog asking him to request Sai Baba on his behalf to attend the dinner of the ceremony, as without His attendance the ceremony would not be duly completed. Bapusaheb Jog read out the letter to Baba. Baba noted carefully the pure-hearted invitation and said - "I always think of him who remembers Me. I require no conveyance, carriage, tanga, nor train nor aeroplane. I run and manifest myself to him who lovingly calls me. Write to him a pleasing reply that three of us (the trio), Myself, yourself and a third will go and attend it." Mr.Jog informed Mr.Deo of what Baba said. The latter was much pleased, but he knew that Baba never went to any place except Rahata, Rui and Nimgaon in person. He also thought that nothing was impossible to Baba as He was all-pervading and that He might suddenly come, in any form He likes and fulfill His words. A few days before this, a Sannyasi with Bengali dress and professing to work for the cause of the protection of the cows, came to the station-master at Dahanu to collect subscriptions. The latter told him to go into the town and see the Mamlatdar (Mr.Deo) and with his help collect funds. Just then the Mamlatdar happened to come there. The station-master then introduced the Sannyasi to him. Both sat talking on the platform. Mr.Deo told him that a subscription-list for some other charitable cause had already been opened by the leading citizen Rao Saheb Narottam Shetti and so it was not good to start another subscription-list and that it would be better if he would visit the place after 2 or 4 months.
