August 27th 5:30 pm - Onam celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam This morning the onam celebrations began with the arrival of our beloved Swami into the Sai Kulwant Hall. Swami was welcomed by a band and many devotees from kerala in beautiful costumes. As soon as Swami reached the veranda one of the VIPs had some health problems. Swami offered him water and Vibhuthi. And the devotee was taken in stretcher. There were bhajans and aarathi after that all the programs were canceled. But there will be programs in the evening. Yesterday evening there was a musical program by the devotees from kerala. It was nearly a 3 hour program filled with wonderful musical and classical songs. After the event Swami presented all the participants with clothes. Swami also presented on of the performers who was visually blind with a gold chain for his musical performance.
