can someone clarify my doubts on the sai gayathri??

Sai Ram dear devotees,

 

I hope someone can clarify my doubts on the sai gayathri. We all know

the sai gayatri: Saieswaraya Vidmahe, Sathya Devaaya Dheemahi,Thannah

Sarva Prachodayat " which was revealed to Vedic Scholor Pandit Sri

Ghandikota Subrahmanya Shastry in 1977.

 

Recently while I was reading the " Divine Memories of Sathya Sai Baba "

by Diana Baskin she states that the Sai gayathri was revelead to a lady

in her dream who wrote it down and gave it to Diana' mother and her

mother took it with her to the interview called by Swami and Swami took

it and exclaimed " This is the Sai Gayatri. Say it, it is very good. " It

goes like this:

 

Om Sri Sathya Sai Devaya Vidmahe,

Parthi Naathaya Dheemahe,

Thanno Sai Prachodayat.

 

However nobody recites this gayathri nowadays. So can anyone clarify

to what actually happned and which sai gayathri are we to recite. Thank

SAI RAM,

You have given the answer yourself to your query in the last para of your mail. The second Sai Gayatri is not recited now.
