Sairam,

Wish you all a very happy Baba's day. BABA bless us with wisdom, stength and humbleness. May He guide us in our life. BABA please listen to our prayers for those who are sick and suffering and cure them.

I often wondered when I ask BABA for some guidance will He ever give it to me? For sometime I wondered how HE will guide me in life, will He come and talk to me or let the things flow as they are meant to flow in the direction that He wants it to flow. I was ignorant and did not realise that BABA spoke to me through HIS children, other devotees whether known to me or unknown. When I realised that HE comes in any form and shape and guides me I was more relaxed. I then thought to myself, what if I wanted guidance from BABA and nobody is around, how will HE guide me? Over a period of time and incidents I realised that if I had enough faith in BABA HE talks to me through ME. Strange isnt it. When in need we pray to BABA and ask HIM for guidance BABA talks to ALL of us, and HE gives us solutions through us. Do you not believe me? Well let us recollect the number of instances "WE" came up with solutions for our problem and felt happy about our ability to be able to come out of sticky situations. Did we not hear the voice of our inner being - "intuition/instinct/thought process" what ever we call it, during times of need. How many times we said to ourselves "I knew this would happenI should have gone with my first thought". Well, there you go, that inner voice is Baba Himself who resides in our heart and guides us through our instincts. We have to tune ourselves to listen more to our inner voice. The first thought that comes spontaneously is BABA's command to us. When we have enough faith in Him, we tend to recognise Him in every action and thought and then We are saved from situations which might have looked as if they would never go away in our life. Let us all tune towards the words of caution, advise that BABA gives us through our instant thoughts. Here is the message for the week....

Characteristic of Shirdi - Pilgrimage One special peculiarity of Shirdi-pilgrimage was this, that none could leave Shirdi, without Baba's permission; and if he did, he invited untold sufferings, but if any one was asked to quit Shirdi, he could stay there no longer. Baba gave certain suggestions or hints, when Bhaktas went to bid good-bye and take leave. These suggestions had to be followed. If they were not followed or were departed from, accidents were sure to befall them, who acted contrary to Baba's directions. We give below a few instances. Tatya Kote Patil Tatya Kote was once going in a tanga to Kopargaon bazar. He came in haste to the Masjid, saluted Baba, and said that he would go to Kopargtaon bazar. Baba said, "Don't make haste, stop a little, let go the bazar, don't go out of the

village". On seeing has anxiety to go, Baba asked him to take Shama (Madhavrao

Deshpande) at least with him. Not minding this direction, Tatya Kote immediately

drove his tanga. Of the two horses one, which cost Rs.300/- was very active and

restless. After passing Sawul well, it began to run rashly, got a sprain in its

waist and fell down. Tatya was not much hurt, but was reminded of Mother Sai's

direction. On another occasion while proceeding to Kolhar village, he

disregarded Baba's direction, and drove in a tanga, which met with a similiar

accident." Chapter 9 Satcharita.

BABA bless us and guide us always.

Humble pranams
