Hari Om.

May God bless you.

God say ,that He is like Kalpaka tree-everyone gets

what he seeks\requested\ from Him-freedom or money.

This is God`s dharma /please comment this in sakamya-

worldly people,and nishkamya-monks aspect/.

But have many cases when haven`t answer of the prayers

sakamya or nishkamya prayers.In this situation from

where I can take power accept God`s will-prey for

power for accept God`s will-but if God no answer again?/I

must accept pain and suffer-impossible to save myself

from pain/.

Best regards in the Lord.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~response~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Ivan
You have asked interesting question.... Does God respond?
How to avoid pain when he is not responding?
I am going to take the liberty of posting this question to the list
to see what response we can get.
regards
jay
I accept suffering as an inevitable part of life not
as a pessimistic view of life, but as something which
has been said by wiser people than me. But to me,
suffering is that which arises within us from our
desires. Everything the Lord sends is an opportunity
to become closer to Him, it is just that in our very
small and unenlightened view of the world, our desires
and feelings cloud our chance to see the opportunity,
and we suffer. Every wall is really a bridge and it
is not God's fault if we cannot make it so. Even
though I am the first one to wail at pain, to kill a
poisonous spider in my house, and to give in to petty
temptation, I know that I am just reacting to my own
desires and view of the world, and it is myself making
me suffer. I am at the same time praying for
sometimes very selfish things, and sometimes praying
for my relief from chronic pain because I have a
lifelong illness, realizing at the same time that this
illness is really a gift which i can use to attain a
small measure of spiritual advancement. Even Christ
at the end of his life said, father, let this cup pass
from me...... this great holy man of God did not want
to go through the agony of suffering that he knew was
ahead, even though he knew his mahasamadhi was at the
other end of it (is that the right term?)........What
would have happened if God said at that moment, okay,
son, I take it back, just go on about your business!?
I also at the same time try to " make friends " with
suffering, not to get used to it and live as a
suffering person, but to see a way in which this can
bring me closer to the Lord. One day, even though it
may be in the distant future, I come to an
understanding of why I suffered and how God protected
me from what would have happened had my desires been
fulfilled.
(Wow, a lot said for a lurker!)
Dear Frances, I read, many things I feel, better expressed in your letter. I
feel like an alcoholic who wants to sober-up but can not, does not, will not
give up the bottle. When he prays for the release from this addiction from
the world-wine, he is afraid it might be granted.
Really, Anup, this is exactly how I feel, as if I am
addicted to the world and the more i try to put it out
of my mind, the more it takes hold of me. Sometimes i
think i am getting ahead and then something happens to
make me know that I am slave to desire, I have one
great desire for my life in particular and I try to
channel it into desire for god, with good results, but
there is always a part of me that would jump at the
chance to fulfill this particular desire, a part of me
that is afraid that god actually will take it away
from me if I can ask fervently enough, like the
drunkard who does not want to lose the false best
friend, the bottle, no matter what he stands to
gain!!!!!!
Dear Respected Sai Family
I offer U my humble pranams.
Also sincere many thanks for all of your work and devotion in making
all of this possible for everyone who needs to stay connected to Shirdi
Sai Baba no matter how far away we are and how strange.
i had a Sai experience today leela. I was in t the gas station with
little money I wanted to get only 10 dollars of gas. The attendant put
20 dollars in the tank and I told him I wanted only 10. We had a heated
argument and he could not speak any English. He said he was going to
call the police I demanded he call the police but first I talk to the
manager. The manager came and let it go . I got my car filled up for 1-
dollars as he was comming to talk to me I saw Baba's face in his. I got
a warm feeling and thnked him> I saw Sai Babas face in him. . It came
to me that it was Sai Baba behind this blessing. I was smiling after
that inside I knew the truth.
It was a small thinng but I was sure that Sai Baba is with me. I felt
very happy.
I am writing to let you know I will be able to participate in the Amrit
vani recitation this week and request for prayers for my financial and
health to improve and to bless all who are in need also. Thank you
aian for this opportunity to participate in worship of Sai
Baba with others which I would not have where I live.
May Lord Sai Baba bless all of us. Om Sai Ram
Roz Madhuri
