Guest guest
Sairam I would like to share an experience which my god mother and dear friend Sowmini shared with me and gave me permission to share with you all. Sowmini is a member of the group and an ardent devotee of Baba and is a living example of patience and faith. Sowmini has a 99 year old mother(amma) whose features resemble Akkalkot Maharaj's picture hanging beside amma's bed. Amma has been ardent follower of Akkalkot Maharaj, just entering amma's room, one gets enveloped in divine vibration. I was to go to Sowmini's house for lunch on Saturday the 28th Feb. Sowmini called to cancel lunch as amma was sick and had to be taken to the hospital. Sowmini, did not elaborate on amma's situation, but told that doctors wanted amma to remain in hospital for few days. I got a call on Friday 6th Feb from Sowmini. Sowmini sounded happier and told me that Amma was back home and it was a miracle. It was then I learnt from Sowmini that amma was diagnosed with pancreatitis and was on drip for all these days. Sowmini's devotion towards her mother - who is a Baba for her, is, something to be seen to believe. Sowmini gave up her job to nurse her aging mother about 4 years ago. Sowmini prayed to Baba every day and mixed Udi with water and said to Baba "I cannot give this to amma, Baba, I am drinking this for Amma, please take care of amma and help her to recover". Sowmini did this for 5 days, and when she went to see amma on Friday she was surprised when the doctor asked Sowmini to take amma home and said "amma will not be sick with this medical condition for another 99 years". This is a miracle indeed and shows how faith can change the situation in our favour. At an age where it is difficult for people to recover due to degradation of health, for somebody who could not take anything orally and was on drips; to be sent home with clean bill of health-is this not a miracle. This can only be attributed to BABA's Grace. Anitha Kandukuri http://www.angelfire.com/sd/SaidarbarCanberra Find car news, reviews and more Looking to change your car this year?
