Conversations With God: Part 6

God: The first illusion you live in is that God only talks to special people in special ways. That is not true. The second illusion you live in is that the outcome in life is in doubt - therefore you start living life in fear. That is not true either.

NDW: I am not following you, please explain..

God: Fear makes you doubt the outcome which further leads to doubting the Creator, and doubting God's intentions. God has full power to match your intentions with results. Remember, it is your intentions that manifest in your life. God does not have intentions. As is your faith so is the extent to which your intentions manifest.

Yet, you do not believe this, and to suit your thinking, you have imagined a power equal and opposite to God and named it 'Devil'. You have imagined God at war with this being, and further you imagined the possibility of God losing this war to Devil.

All of this violates what you say you know about God, but that does not matter. You live your illusion and thus feel fear, all out of your decision to doubt God.

NDW: OK, what if I made the decision to not live in fear and have firm faith in God? What then?

God: I tell you this: you would live as the Buddha did; as Jesus did; as did every saint that walked the earth. Yet, as with most of the saints, people would not understand you. When you explain your joy, inner peace, and ecstasy, they would hear your words but would not understand. Eventually they will grow jealous of you [for you have found God] and look for ways to harm you. That is what happened to Jesus.

It is the nature of people to love, then destroy, then love again that which they value most.

NDW: Oh my God! This makes so much sense now. But why do people have this behavior?
