Guest guest
our mind is like a shadow and Paramatma is like Sun. If Jeevan is walking following the shadow, it means Jeevan is walking away from the Sun. If he has control of the mind and if the shadow is following the Jeevan, it means, he is walking towards Sun (God). Shadow makes Jeevan believe that Jeevan is real and permanent whereas without Sun's light (God's Grace), both Jeevan and Shadow do not exist even during the transient period. Sun never sets and it is the mind that makes Jeevan believe that sun sets in the evening so that it can become independent and get into a dream state. When Jeeva is able to pass that dream state, Jeeva gets into a deep sleep state achieving rest for the mind. That is how Jeevan feels fresh in the morning. But when the mind wakes up and see the Sun, it brings back " I " ness preventing Jeeva to recognize the oneness with God and creating separation. When Jeeva reaches " Turya " state, the Sun (God's Grace) is shining (permanent) always and mind has completely disappeared. There is no waking, dreaming and deep sleep state. The light is permanent and Bliss is achieved. There is no separation and Jeeva feels the oneness with God. All the clouds (bad qualities) preventing the reflection of light has disappeared. Jeevan starts reflecting the light from the Sun like the moon. Kasi V.Sridharan
