Yesterday there was food and clothes distribution in Kodaikanal as part of the Eswaramma Day celebrations in Sathya Sai Baba's presence. Swami blessed and gave clothes and food to a few devotees and rest of them were given by sevadals. There were quite a few devotees at the Sai Shruthi Ashram in Kodaikanal to participate in the event. These pictures were taken from a local tamil newspaper.

Thought for the Day

You must earn the love of one and all. God is loved by everyone. He is always happy and blissful. He has no hatred towards anybody. Whatever He does is for the good of the world. Everyone must cultivate such divine love towards others. Always tread the path of truth and morality. A nation without morality is bound to degenerate and disintegrate. It is not enough if you have patriotism; along with it you should have morality too. Merely giving lectures on morality will not suffice; it must permeate every activity undertaken by you.

Du mußt die Liebe von allen und jedem verdienen. Gott wird von jedem geliebt. Er ist immer zufrieden und glücklich. Er hat keinen Haß gegen irgendjemanden. Was immer Er tut, gereicht zum Guten für die Welt. Jeder muss solch Göttliche Liebe anderen gegenüber kultivieren. Nimm immer den Weg der Wahrheit und Moral. Eine Nation ohne Moral muß zwangsläufig entarten und sich auflösen. Es ist nicht genug, wenn Du von Patriotismus erfüllt bist; zugleich solltest Du auch Moral haben. Bloß Vorträge über Moral zu halten wird nicht ausreichen; sie muß jede Handlung durchdringen, die Du unternimmst.
