You may try as well: 1.Without fail help some physically handicapped person/persons or such organisations in whichever simple way you can(because Sani is supposed to become happy by help rendered to physically handicapped people according to my ancestors' belief) 2. Provide food donation to the needy (even if you provide food for only one person or two persons--it is still ok) on saturday or regular saturdays(also ancient belief) 3. Recite Sani Gayathri as many times as possible: "Kaakadwajaya Vidhmahe Katga Hasthaaya Dheemahee Thanno Mandha Prachodayath" 4. Recite Vishnu Sahasranama at home preferably at few times a week 5. Read Sai Sat Charita at home 6. On Saturdays read sani sahasranama by going to any nearby temple and do simple archana in your name in the temple Above all keep praying to our Swami to help you. I have shared the simple things I know about how to overcome your problems. I am also suffering from 7 1/2 years saturn and my daughter has Ardhashtama Sani and so on. So let us pray god to help us. Guest guest Posted August 7, 2007 Report Share Posted August 7, 2007 SAI RAM Ravi, Even granting that Astrology is infallible, since you say your Janma rasi is Makara and since Sani is Lord of your Birth Rasi, normally, the Lord of Birth Rasi is a benefic irrespective of wherever he is placed. Placement of Sani in 8th house in your case is not a matter for worry. We have also to consider the position of Sani with reference to Janmalagnam and the aspects received by Sani. Also the position of 8th Lord viz., Sun in the Rasi chart has also to be looked into. Through which Dasa, Bhukti are you passing now? Various factors have to be considered before venturing on any prediction. The Nine planets are like the servants or guards at the gate of a palace. When the King is favourably inclined to any citizen, the guards can do nothing. If we surrender ourself to God totally and win His Grace,Compassion and Love, the planets can do no harm to us. Several pariharams are suggested to ward off the evil effects of Sani. But I will like to say one thing here. Irrespective of whether Sani is Favourably placed or not in the horoscope , one has to suffer or enjoy his Prarabdha Karmas. The Law of Karma is supreme. Planets only aid God in offering Karma Phala. Have complete trust on our Lord SAI and hope he will take care of all of us. Try to read ashtotharam of SAI or Vishnu sahasranamam. Chant the Sani mantra : // Neelanjana Samabaasam RaviPutram Yamaagrajam Chaaya Maarthanda Sambootham Tam Namami Saneeswaram // Once again Praying to our Lord Sai to be always with us.
