Guest guest
Sai Ram: Everything is Swami's will. "Nothing happens without Swami's will". Not even a blade of grass moves without Swami's will. Prompting to write letter, eagerness to offer to Swami is all part of divine leela of Swami. Feel happy for those whose letters are taken at Darshan. Pray for those whose letters are not taken by Swami. Just cherish extra Darshan during the time Swami interacts with his devotees. My sister-in-law (Swami's devotee for more than 30 years) regularly writes letters to Swami and leaves at alter and takes to Darshan, when in presence of Swami. She also sends telegrams to Swami. Like the brother whose letter taken by Swami and got into legal battle over his house, my sister-in-law had her share of troubles at times, even when Swami took her letters. Swami taking letter is no gaurantee for a desired outcome. Swami knows best for us. My approach to Sai is different. I do not write letter to Swami. I would rather have Swami give his time to other devotee, who needs Sai's attention more than I. I pray "Swai keep in your Zone". As long as Swami keeps me in his Zone, I am protected. I only have mental dialogue with Sai. Sai provides 24/7 "free" access with "INNERNET". No connection problem. "INNERNET" is never down or busy. Only requirement is "Yearning"! PRAY And THANK SAI EVERY TIME AND ALL THE TIME, the you will be very Happy. All the best, Raj Bhushan c_rommel Fri, 6 Apr 2007 6:20 PM Re: [sBOI-post] Re: Significance of swamy accepting letters. Respected Dear Children of Swami, Sairam & loving regards. Writing letters to Swami Vaaru is a wonderful spiritual activity which helps one to communicate deep love, sincere feelings of bhavana, and helps one to express devotion…. The moment a letter is written to Swami Vaaru , the message instantly reaches Swami . Many years back, when Ambassador Basheeruddin requested Swami, on to which address he should write letters to … Parthi or Brindavan or Kodai … Swami responded said that it does not matter much to which address one writes, as the messages reach Him instantly as soon as a devotee writes, and as such he could mention any address on the envelope as it is only a carbon copy --- the original reaching him the very moment one puts down his thoughts into words. Thus, our letters are accepted by Swami, the very moment we write to HIM. The significance of writing letters to Swami is that it is a highly concentrated prayer involving the three together -- thought, word and deed. In our daily prayers, normally it’s only thoughts that are involved whereas in putting them down in a form of a letter to Swami, it involves a greater concentration and helps in our communication with the Lord. The sweetness of devotion is to establish a string of constant flow of communication of love between God and oneself. Writing down our prayers in form of letters on a daily or regular basis would help us, in course of time, to develop intimacy with universal Swami. Just as learning of ABCD Alphabets is initially essential to master the language of English, like wise writing down letters to Swami Vaaru would help us to master the art of communication with Swami. Swami knows all. The significance of writing letters is to develop a communication channel between God and Devotee. Till we get to master fully the art of commune with Swami Vaaru at all times, it may be useful to daily jot down a letter to Swami, on a paper or on computer desktop, and intensify our communication with the Divinity … and it may not be even required to post that letter, as the messages reach Swami once feelings are expressed with intensity. Of course on matters of immediate importance one could always send a telegram to Swami Vaaru or send a fax message to Prasanthi Nilayam.
