Such knowledge can come only through a life devoted to Dharmanishta (steady pursuit of the moral code) and Karmanishta (steady devotion to the duties of one's stage of life). These two must end in the evolution of Brahmanishta - the steady contemplation of the One Basis of all this seeming multiplicity, namely, Brahman.
