Bade Baba saw Sai Baba

in 1909. For some months he was not allowed to enter the mosque by Baba. Nobody

knew the reasons. After a long wait, he was invited by Baba and was greatly

loved. He gave him plenty of mangoes and money. Without Bade Baba by his side,

Sai Baba did not eat. He was enjoying the hookah after his devotee

had smoked it. He was often addressed as " Bademiya "

by Baba. Blessed is the devotee to have enjoyed the unique recognition and love

from Baba.

M.B.Rege considered Baba to be mad and he was surprised to hear from

Baba very many wise statements to disprove his earlier opinion. Baba himself

had declared that he was not mad. Rege admired the

omniscient nature of Baba. Both in private and in public life, Rege was helped many times by Baba.

Nana was a Sanskrit scholar. After several

years of delay, he met Baba. Earlier, he did not respond to the call of Baba.

After meeting him, he was astonished to taste the extraordinary love of Baba.

When Baba said that it was not the relationship of one Janma,

he felt thrilled. There were rears in his eyes. He realized his folly. Baba

took upon himself the responsibility of Nana. He saved him and granted him

Brahma-Gnana.

In many ways, many devotees were saved and elevated to spiritual

heights. This is real protection. Sai Baba is a real saviour

to many devotees, when Sai Baba was vibrant in his physical form. Now in the

same Baba is showering his grace and protection without the physical form. He

is alive always. Earlier he was present in human body. Now he is present in the

Samadhi without a body. He is doing what he did earlier. There is no change in

his love, grace and offer of fearlessness.

Times may change, seasons may change, Yugas may change, years may roll by. Everything may change but the truth does

not change. Sai Baba is the unchanging truth. He continues to love his devotees

from his Samadhi as well. When he loves us so much, what is our duty to him? If

we were not his devotees until now, let us at least from now become his

devotees.

We should follow his path. We should serve him. We should love

him. We should worship him and we should adore him. We should meditate on him.

Let his devotees be our model. Those who have won his grace are his real

devotees all his devotees were protected, are protected and will be protected

by Baba. Those who are not his devotees may not enjoy the full protection.

Baba removes all difficulties, problems and obstacles in the way

to devotion. Even today, he is doing his work of a saviour

from his Samadhi. His Samadhi is the cosmic centre of spiritual awakening.

If anybody is protected, if anybody turns inward, if anybody gets

Brahma Jnana, if anybody gets self-realization and if

anybody attains liberation, it is all because of Sai Baba's guidance,

protection, love and grace.

Spiritual progress is possible only when Maya is removed. Maya can

be driven away only by Baba's grace. Otherwise we have to lead wastefully many

lives. A true devotee of Baba will not leave Sai Samadhi. Sai and Sai Samadhi

are not different. Whatever Sai did before Samadhi, he continues to do after

his Samadhi from his Samadhi. Sun never sets. Sai

is ever present. His love never diminishes.

(to be contd….)
