Nandini is the first Earth-born Cow in Sage Vasishtta's Aashram. Nandini is the daughter of Kaamadhenu and Nandi. Kaamadhenu is the Celestial Cow , Mother of all cows ; She was born In the Milky Ocean when Devas and Asuras churned the Milky Ocean (Ksheera Saagara Madhanam) for Amruth., and was taken over by Devas. Her daughter Nandini is given away to Vasishtta , who looked after Her as His own daughter . Nandini is the first Cow to walk on this Earth and is considered Holy by all the followers of Sanaathana Dharma as was done by Vasishtta Himself . All Vedic Rushis had their own Aashram Cows and regularly performed 'Go'pooja ( Cow Worship ). Humans who look after Cows will be assured of a place in 'Go'lokam and will be Blessed by Lord Krishna and Raadha RaaNi. Om Thath Sath. There are Four Mothers for all of us – 1.Aadi Paraa Shakthi who is The Mother Of All Mothers ; 2 .Mother Earth ; 3. Birth Mother ; and 4.
