Guest guest
Sairam, Happy BABA's day to you all. May the grace of BABA shine upon one and all. May our love and faith towards HIS holy feet increase with every new moon. With every passing day, there is increase in anarchy, cheating, greed, selfishness, egoistical nature in man. When things reach the cresendo and people are vexed with the way world interacts and forgets the human nature and values and the basic purpose of life one is riddled with thoughts and questions: is life about living at the cost of another's happiness? is life all about making money? is life about cheating? is life about living for oneself and not caring about others? is life about putting others down? When we are the givers of grief we do not understand our behaviour and attitude and our inconsiderate nature. But when we are the receiving end of the same we look down upon the people who cause us grief and wonder what ever happened to the human values? Isn't it ironic as to how our ming works? As long as we are not affected we are happy and fine and do not care about others or what and how others behave. We have to see within ourselves and our behaviour before we lift a finger at others. When we despair and pray to god for relief there is an answer. The righteousness within our rises and if a person is tuned to his/her own consciousness then the inner self speaks and guides us in our path. Hence we see change in human behaviour, a man who has been ruthless and selfish all his life is not considerate caring and empathetic - why is this so? it is because the inner voice/atman/god is awakened with our cries of prayers and guides us to act in the right way. We need not wait for a messiah to come and deliver us from our grievances. HE is there within us. Let us pray to invoke our consciousness to act in the right way always and be the beacons of BABA to act in the right way and give hope to the hopeless. Here is the message for the week. Mission of the Saints Lord Krishna says in Bhagvadgita (Chapter IV, 7-8) that "Whenever there is a decay of Dharma (righteousness) and an ascendancy of unrighteousness, I manifest Myself; and for the protection of the virtuous, the destruction of the vicious and for the establishment of righteousness, I manifest Myself in age after age". This is the mission of Lord, and the Sages and Saints, Who are His representatives and Who appear here at proper times, help in their own way to fulfil that mission. For instance, when the twice born, i.e. the Brahmins, the Kshatriyas and the Vaishyas neglect their duties and when the Shudras try to usurp the rights of the higher classes, when spiritual preceptors are not respected but humiliated, when nobody cares for religious instructions, when every body thinks himself very learned, when people begin to partake of forbidden foods and intoxicating drinks, when under the cloak of religion, people indulge in malpractices, when people belonging to different sects fight amongst themselves, when Brahmins fail to do Sandhya adoration, and the orthodox their religious practices, when Yogis neglect their meditation, when people begin to think that wealth, progeny, wife are their sole concern, and thus turn away from the true path of salvation, then do Saints appear and try to set matters right by their words and action. They serve us as beacon-lights, and show us the right path, and the right way for us to follow. In this way, many saints, viz. Nivritti, Jnanadev, Muktabai, Namdev, Gora, Gonayi, Ekanath, Tukaram, Narahari, Narsi Bhai, Sajan Kasai, Sawata, Ramdas, and various others did appear at various times to show the right path to the people, and so presently came Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi.
