Sairam,

Happy BABA's day to you all. May the almighty guide us always in our life and give us wisdom with every passing day. May we always tread in the path of love, understanding, compassion and empathy as shown by BABA.

Place a list of Wishes in front of BABA, He is sure to listen. There is something you desire badly, and you place it before Him. You pray day in and day out and wanting to achieve that desire. Leaving and trusting in BABA, and knowing, nay, wanting HIM to listen to your prayers, you go ahead in achieving your desire. Then all of a sudden, things start going wrong at every step. Then prayer and their intensity increase. As a result you cross over one hurdle only to be hit by another one. This keeps happening repeatedly. Sounds familiar? STOP and think. Why are you hit by hurdles at every juncture? What message do you get?

May Be what you seek to achieve and fulfill is not for you. God and nature gives us warnings at every step in our life when the things are not ment for us. Repeated obstacles, and frustrations are warnings from God, to advise us that - perhaps what we seek is not ment for us. But in our sheer desire to achieve what we want and have set our heart on, we go ahead ignoring all HIS caution. We may achieve it, but end up with bag of miseries followed by our achievement. Only if we had listened to the voice of God with our heart. And heeded to HIS warnings which come in the form of repeated warnings we would not have ended in the mess that we created for ourselves... BABA warns, whether you listen or not is up to you... Here is the message for the week.

Characteristic of Shirdi - Pilgrimage

One special peculiarity of Shirdi-pilgrimage was this, that none could leave Shirdi, without Baba's permission; and if he did, he invited untold sufferings, but if any one was asked to quit Shirdi, he could stay there no longer. Baba gave certain suggestions or hints, when Bhaktas went to bid good-bye and take leave. These suggestions had to be followed. If they were not followed or were departed from, accidents were sure to befall them, who acted contrary to Baba's directions. We give below a few instances.

Tatya Kote Patil

Tatya Kote was once going in a tanga to Kopargaon bazar. He came in haste to the Masjid, saluted Baba, and said that he would go to Kopargtaon bazar. Baba said, "Don't make haste, stop a little, let go the bazar, don't go out of the village". On seeing has anxiety to go, Baba asked him to take Shama (Madhavrao Deshpande) at least with him. Not minding this direction, Tatya Kote immediately drove his tanga. Of the two horses one, which cost Rs.300/- was very active and restless. After passing Sawul well, it began to run rashly, got a sprain in its waist and fell down. Tatya was not much hurt, but was reminded of Mother Sai's direction. On another occasion while proceeding to Kolhar village, he disregarded Baba's direction, and drove in a tanga, which met with a similiar accident. " Chapter 9 Satcharita.

BABA bless us and guide us always.
