Happy BABA's day to you all. May He lead us away from Temptation into light. May His grace shine upon one and all.

Every individual has a role to play in this life. Those who are wise recognise it and do their duty to the best of their abilities. Others, though opportunity knocks on their doorstep, due to maya they do not recognise the reason for their birth on this earth. In the path of spirituality a person is taken to God, BABA or towards any saint, whom they have never heard of before or seen their picture. This influence is due to some friend, book, movie or an incident happened in our life. We might not see these people who have brought us to our Sadguru ever again in our life. Their purpose was to guide us and this is arranged by BABA Himself. If you recall, there would be many incidents in life where we have met people only for once but they leave an indelible mark in our memory through their kind work or gesture which has changed our life. Such incidents are not uncommon in Sai Path. Let us bow to these people for bringing us towards this path, they were main instruments in the hands of BABA through whome He pulled us together. Having the great opportunity of being in close proximity of BABA, it is our responsibility to work towards the Goal - to be closer to HIM. For this we need not give up our present life. All we need to give up is bad actions, thoughts and fill them with BABA whislt carrying on our everyday life activities and duties. We have to think of BABA, everytime we talk something bad about a person. Question oneself - does BABA approve of this from me? This will filter out vices and fill us with divinity. Bhakthi, or Devotion cannot be shown by bribing God, or filling HIS HUNDI with millions. Bhakthi is acknowledging that life is pervaded by HIM and our words, actions and thoughts should be filled by HIM. If it is not followed so vain is the birth. With every passing day let us beg the lord to give us wisdom and maturity to understand what HE wants us to do in life. Otherwise we would not have gained anything in life inspite of being in contact, or going to temples every thursday or spending money on BABA, with the purpose mainly to show off personal wealth and gain peoples admiration or build expensive circle. Humility, love, simplicity and discrimination between right and wrong is one that brings us closer to God.

Importance of Human Birth

In this wonderful universe, God has created billions (84 lacs according to

Hindusastra calculation) of creatures or beings (including Gods, demigods,

insects, beasts and men) inhabiting heaven, hell, earth, ocean, sky and other

intermediate regions. Of these, those creatures or souls, whose merits

preponderate, go to heaven and live there till they enjoy the fruits of their

actions, and when this is done, they are cast down while those souls, whose sins

or demerits preponderate, go down to hell, and suffer the consequences of their

misdeeds for so long a time as they deserve. When their merits and demerits

balance each other, they are born on earth as human beings, and are given a

chance to work out their salvation. Ultimately when their merits and demerits

both drop down (are got rid of) completely, they get their deliverance and
