Guest guest
Please don't think that I am sharing any experiences for show off - it will only make me miserable if I do that...I am just excited and so I frequently email about the little things also... Three things happened recently where I could tell that Baba was behind it to teach me... I go to the ISCKON temple from about 5 Sundays for the Bhagavad Gita class and it is awesome...One night I opened up the Bhagavad Gita translated by Paramahansa Yoganandaji and read a few verses...Next day, Sunday, I went for the class and the same verses were thaught...This showed me the omnipresence of all true Satguru's and also proved that ISCKON devotee wrong who was telling me that ISCKON Bhagavad Gita is the most superior Bhagavad Gita.... Then once a person at that temple tried to convince me that Lord Krishna is the boss of all and I must follow him only because he is the ultimate (and no one else, my Guru Sai Baba). He said that if I have an option to speak with a Prime Minister, Krishna and a Cheif Minister, my Guru Sai Baba, then whom should I speak with. He wanted me to choose Prime Minister but I told him that his whole example was wrong and told him that I don't want God if I have to give up my Guru for I have become a beleiver in God only because of my Guru. Also repeated to him that Kabirdasji doha which I had memorised parrot wise, but he didn't agree with me and we wound up. After that I straight away went upstairs for the class and guess what?? That only verse of Bhagavad Gita which Sai Baba had explained in detail to Nanasaheb Chandorkar was also included in the verses that were taken that week (Verse - Tattvidhi Pranipatrena........)...I was ecstatic...You know mainly why?? Because the teacher explained several methods of attaining salvation and then explained that verse as a very important one....I know that Baba is Lord Krishna itself... Now on last Sunday in the morning one of my friend asked all the other friends of mine about what does " Renunciation " mean? It was concluded that Renunciation is not sitting there and not doing any work, so to speak renouncing all the actions; But " Renunciation " is actually performing the dutiful Actions with detachment and not expecting any fruits from our activity..The same evening I went to ISCKON temple for the Bhagavad Gita class and the first verse that was explained was about Renunciation. The verse is as follows: The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: One who is unattached to the fruits of his work and who works as he is obligated is in the renounced order of life, and he is the true mystic, not he who lights no fire and performs no duty. (Pg. 307, Chapter 6, Bhagavad Gita as it is) I think all the unusual things that happened before I got the formal explanation from the teacher of the ISCKON temple (as arranged by Baba) were the sole reason why more of my attention was drawn towards that particular thing...I cannot explain it well... -- ----- " Let Noble thoughts come to us from every side " .- RigVeda (1-89-i)
