FEATURE

OF THE WEEK: How Long Does It Take?

Sainath

said humbly, " I am a servant of the lord " . " Allah Maalik "

or God is great. Sai Baba also said that He is in everyone and those who know

Him that way will accomplish the benefits of spiritual realization. Is

Sainath what we see He is? Just three cubits length of a mendicant who roamed

the hamlet of Shirdi several years ago?

Let us

read what Shri B.V. Narasimhaswami ji says,

" Gurow manushyata buddhih

sishyaya yadi jaayate

nahi tasya bhavet siddhih

kalpa koti scatair api "

" That

means that if you treat a Guru as a mere man, your sadhana will be a failure

perpetually. Faith in the Guru is specially needed for God realization. The

Guru who has himself realized his soul as identical with Para Brahman (a

truth expressed as " Main Allah Hum " by Baba) works at the soul of

his disciple (sishya), and after seeing that it is duly prepared, and at the

right moment, utter a word or uses a gesture or makes other effort, and the

effect is instantaneous. The sishya is drawn into the same state of

Satchitananda resulting from the experience of Jiva-Brahma Aikya. This is

done in one minute or half a minute, as the Guru Gita says - 'Nimishena

Nimishardhena'. That is, " In a moment or half a moment the Guru and his

disciple are in that realized state as a result of the Guru's action and

sishya's faith. This involves, no doubt, a previous preparation under the

Guru's care of the sishya's soul for a very long time. But the final effect

takes no time. It is instantaneous " .

Koti Koti Pranam Sainath. As wished I am posting this article to say my

thanks to Baba for making it possible to find new tenants for our home in

time and also with more rent than we expected and also tenants are very soft.

This would not have been possible without Your grace. Please accept our small

gift, which You know we have offered You. Sai Baba please guide us always in

the right path. Please help my husband to find good job and make us settle in

one place. Also thank you for providing me good team members. Please shower

I do not know how to avoid the mistakes I keep on doing repeatedly and you

pardon me every time I tend to do it. As characterized by Satcharita, I am

the lowest level of devotee. My brothers and sisters reading the article,

please advice through Baba's grace how can I get rid of this human quality

and become a better human.

This morning I was very much tensed, as the reports will come this day. So I

was really scared and tensed. I was unable to concentrate on work also. Then

I submitted my prayers to prayer club. After that I called the doctor's

office. Doctor told me that everything was normal. This is because of Your

grace only. Really You relieved my tension. You made the reports normal thank

You very much Baba.

Dear Sai devotees here I want to share one of the wonderful experiences that

I had with my Sai baba. One night at around 11 pm I was alone in my room. I

started watching some of Sai baba's videos on you tube, I was full of

devotion. I heard many songs and was singing along too, like " Sai baba

bolo " , " Sainath tere hazaaron haath " . Then after some 20

minutes I felt some beautiful fragrance, it was like the smell of sandal

which we can find in Sai temples or sometimes from the udi also. Slowly the

fragrance increased and it became so strong that I just stood up from my

chair surprising what was happening. There was no one in the room also nobody

has visited the room since last half an hour, I ran all around the room

looking for the source of the smell and it was from my sweet Baba's

photograph. The place where my Baba was sitting, the smell was strongest in

that corner. It happened for 15 minutes and then it slowly reduced that I

could barely feel it. Later on my husband came into the room, at first I

didn't tell him anything and simply asked him whether he could smell anything

and then he told me that he felt fragrance of some flowers then I told him

the whole incidence and he was just wonderstruck. It was amazing. I know that

was definitely my Sai who came to meet me and has showed me that He is there

at my side always.

Few weeks ago my sister told me that my nephew got something that looks like

wart on his leg and she was worried if it was anything more complicated. I

was worried and mentally thought in front of Saibaba to not make things

complicated for my nephew and that I would post this if his doctor said it is

nothing to worry about and it happened like I wanted it to be with amazing

grace of Sai. Sai please take care of our family and all the people who needs

help with worldly problems. Sai please bless my little girl with normal

healthy life.

Namaskar Sashtang Srisainatha, with Your blessings my mother's operation went

well. She is recovering also without much problems. Baba, please show Your

grace and help her regain her normal self soon as You know she has a major

responsibility left to do yet. Bless my sister with happiness, she deserves

rest of the members in the family.

ignoring to offer my prayers to You with full sincerity. A couple of days

back I prayed sincerely that if by Your grace something good happens to

change the scenario on the business front before Gurupoornima, I will write

Jai Sai Ram, I would like to thank this website and all the people associated

with this noble cause of spreading Sai Baba's message across the globe. I

would like to share my experience with all Sai devotees. We have been praying

to our Lord Sai that our Green Card should come through as it has been

pending since last four years and because of this, we were not able to take

couple of major decisions. Finally, Baba blessed us with approval on this matter.

Thank you Baba, we always love You. You have done so many miracles in our

life and given so much to us than we deserve. Please keep showering Your love

and blessing on all the devotees and let Sai-Yug come to this universe.

Please help us. I am tired of my husband trying one business after another

and not settling down in any. It has been 3 years since he earned anything at

all. On the other hand, I have lost count of the amount of money he has lost

in his business, share and lands, which are in litigation. We cannot go on

like this any longer Baba. Please help him to settle down into something

worth his while.

Baba, my friend recently had a baby. The baby started having an internal

bleeding in his head. He is just 5 days old. His parents are worried. Please

Baba make him a complete healthy baby. He is too small to take that much

pain.

I am afraid and worried that my heart should not be affected as I am having

pain in the mid chest area. Please save me Baba and ensure my heart is

perfectly fine.

I am going thru due to the conflict between my parents and my in-laws. Life

is becoming unbearable Deva. Please show me a way out of this misery.

Deva, more than my father I would say Your devotee for 40 years. Hey Baba,

You know my father regularly visited Your temple on all Thursdays be it rainy

or sunny. Deva help him out of this illness. Let him recover very fast by

Your miracles. Give him mental and physical strength to undergo the

chemotherapy treatment.

Please help me. I will not get the job without Your blessing. If I am doing

something wrong, please guide me to do the right thing. I am totally

dependant on You.

Baba my mother's angiogram test is fixed for tomorrow. Since it is government

hospital and there is no proper facility but still doctor advised us to come

there for angiogram test. Therefore, what I request You is test should go

smoothly, she should not have any problem and she should be happy and

healthy.

Sai devotee

Baba, again I am praying your Lotus feet! My daughter met with a car

accident. Someone hit her stationary car at a turning from the opposite

direction and that person happens to be an off duty police officer. Due to

some technical reasons the insurance company is refusing to pay the

compensation for her car damages even if she has comprehensive (full)

insurance. On the top of it, they are demanding that she must pay for the

damages of the other car also, which means a huge amount. If it happens the

five year savings of my daughter and son-in-law will be completely drained

out. They would face lot of finanacial problems. You are the only one who

could save them from this situation by Your miracle. Please help my children

as You are doing all these years. Shower Your blessings on them and save them

from this grave situation. They will visit Shirdi when they come to India.

Sainatha, we are blessed that we could get darshan in NY last week. As You are

aware my son fell sick and it is five days since he is in the hospital. Since

January 2007 You know what are the sufferings we had in terms of medical

issues, physical stress and family issues. Please bless my family, none of

these will settle down unless You shower blessings on us. My wife keeps

getting a dream that my son owes something to You. Please let her know in

Your way and give her peace of mind, for my child's good health and peace of

mind at work for me.

past one and half years and grant my sister a happy married life for longer

period.

EXPERIENCE

OF DEVOTEES:

Sudhakar

I am currently working in a medium sized IT firm as a Software Engineer. I

started visiting Sai temple because of my friends who used to accompany me.

Baba has helped me a lot when I was struggling in my job and life. But, I am

was paid enough in my current job and therefore and I kept on praying Baba

for change in job. I did not get any job for more than one year and few

months back a miracle happened. I got an offer from an US based consultancy

for H1, and I had cleared the interview and the consultant agreed to sponsor

me an H1 visa. After that, approval process was there and this time it was

random selection and my application was selected in this round. I had prayed

Baba that I will post this in Sai Vichaar after my application is approved.

Now, I am waiting for my Consulate round of interview, still I did not get

any news about consulate round. Baba please help me get the consulate round

call as soon as possible. I am waiting for it. I promise to visit Shirdi

after all process is over.

Madhavi

Thanks to Saibaba for being with us all the time. Saibaba helped me in many

ways to cross the hurdles in my life. My dad was very sick with brain

hemorrhage few years ago, and Baba saved my dad. My sister had no kids for a

long time, and Baba blessed her with a child. I had no help with our second

baby and Baba sent me a nanny to help me out. For some reason that nanny quit

and soon Baba send me another one to take care of my baby. One of my friend

visited Shirdi, and I send some money with her to put in hundi. Baba heard me

again, he sent my mother-in-law to take care of my baby, while my nanny was

on vacation. I seek help from Baba all the time, and each time He helps me

out. I was working as a contractor and Baba gave me a permanent Government

job at my client. Baba, there is no end to Your help. You saved me all the

times, and please continue to shower Your blessing to our family and to all

who believe You.

Dear Sai devotees, I had lots of experiences where Baba helped me. Today I

would like to share a recent experience where Baba helped me. This happened

in Minneapolis, USA. The long weekend of July

4th, all my family went to Valley Fair, a theme park. We all had lots of fun,

my kids had nice time, and the park closes that day at 12:00 p.m. so, we were

in the park until 12:00 pm. When it was time to go home, we came to the

parking lot looking for our car. We found the car, but there were no car

keys, my husband looked everywhere in his pocket. I looked in my handbag, we

searched everywhere in the stroller and all the bags, we could not find keys.

I did not know what to do. I sat on the road thinking of keys, both my

children were vey much tired. I prayed to Baba to help us in finding car

keys, and then suddenly something struck me, I asked my husband to open the

door of car probably, you might have left the keys in the car. To our

surprise we found the keys on the seat in the car, though this is a small

experience to me with Baba, I will never forget it. I feel Baba is there

aleways to help His devotees. May Baba bless all of us.

Q. How can one be consistent with their devotion to Sri Saibaba?

Baba has

thankfully been in my life for the last 10 years now. As humans we constantly

falter in most areas of our lives, Baba is my life. Baba is my everything and

I have completely surrendered to Him. Initially He was hard to understand,

but if we go back to Baba's two words Shraddha and Saburi, with Baba's grace,

and His grace alone and with Baba's help, we begin to have faith only in Him

and patience, even much harder to practice than faith. I feel I have reached

the stage in my life that I never ever doubt Baba. He knows all, He does all.

Still a little impatient but getting there and if He and I are one, well,

life has become a breeze with Him inside directing me. Suffer the ups and

downs in life, you are just eliminating the bad karma but be consistent with

your faith and love in Baba as He is with you, remember the patience thing
