Swami received a present yesterday which was a small elephant. Which Swami blessed and gave few fruits etc. This elephant is staying where Sai Gheeta which passed away few days back was staying. This will make Swami and many in Puttaparthi happy who were feeling sad with the demise of Sai Gheeta recently.

Devotion to the Lord is only a form of discipline to reach the goal. The seeker should not stop with the acquisition of devotion. He should not pay so much attention to the love he has towards the Lord, but more to the love and grace that the Lord bestows on him. He must be always eager to find out which behaviour of his, what acts of his will be most pleasing to the Lord, will fill the Lord with happiness. Inquire about that, yearn for that, do things that will secure that objective - be engaged in acts conducive to gain it, that is real Bhakti (Devotion).

Hingabe (Ergebenheit, Liebe) zum HERRN ist nur eine Form von Disziplin, um das Ziel zu erreichen. Der Suchende sollte nicht mit der Aneignung von Hingabe aufhören. Er sollte nicht so viel Aufmerksamkeit der Liebe schenken, die er dem HERRN gegenüber hat, sondern mehr der Liebe und Gnade, die der HERR ihm verleiht. Er muss immer begierig sein herauszufinden, welches seiner Verhaltensweisen, welche seiner Handlungen dem HERRN am meisten gefallen, den HERRN mit Zufriedenheit erfüllen. Erforsche das, sehne Dich danach, tue Dinge, die dieses Ziel sichern, sei engagiert in Handlungen, die dem Erlangen dessen förderlich sind - das ist wahre Bhakti (Hingabe).

Devotion (bhakti) hanyalah salah-satu bentuk disiplin yang diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan. Sang pencari kebenaran tidak boleh hanya berhenti di situ saja. Yang perlu menjadi perhatian bukanlah seberapa besar cinta-kasihnya kepada Tuhan, melainkan justru dia harus lebih memastikan seberapa besar cinta-kasih dan rahmat yang dianugerahi oleh Sang Ilahi kepada dirinya. Ia harus antusias mencari tahu jenis perilaku dan perbuatan seperti apa yang paling menyenangkan hati Tuhan. Semangat demikian perlu dikembangkan, agar engkau senantiasa melakukan hal-hal yang memberikan kebahagiaan kepada-Nya, inilah yang disebut sebagai Bhakti (devotion) yang sejati.

La devoción al Señor es sólo una forma de disciplina para alcanzar la meta. El buscador no debería cesar en la adquisición de devoción. No debería prestar mucha atención al amor que él tiene hacia el Señor, sino más bien al amor y a la gracia que el Señor le concede. El debe estar constantemente ávido por encontrar que comportamiento será el más agradable para el Señor, y cuales de sus actos colmarán al Señor de dicha. Inquiere sobre esto, anhélalo, haz las cosas que asegurarán este objetivo; empéñate en actos conducentes a ganarlo, esa es la real Bhakti (Devoción).
