The Vedas teach that man should adore and worship God in gratitude for His benedictions. The Bible teaches that man should pray for peace and practice charity. The Koran would have man show mercy to the suffering and to surrender his will to the Divine. The Buddhist texts teach the lesson of detachment and sense control. The Zend-Avesta exhorts man to get rid of evil propensities and shine in his own innate glory.

In diesem weltlichen Leben offenbart sich die Liebe in verschiedenen Formen, so wie die Liebe zwischen Mutter und Sohn, Ehemann und Ehefrau, und zwischen Verwandten. Diese Liebe aufgrund physischer Beziehungen entsteht aus unseren eigennützigen Motiven und aus Eigeninteresse. Aber die LIEBE des GÖTTLICHEN ist ohne jede Spur von Selbstinteresse. SIE IST LIEBE ALLEIN UM DER LIEBE WILLEN. Das nennt man Bhakti (Hingabe). Ein charakteristisches Merkmal für diese Liebe ist das Geben und nicht das Erhalten. Zum zweiten kennt die Liebe keine Furcht. Und drittens existiert sie nur um der Liebe willen und nicht aus einem selbstsüchtigen Motiv heraus. Alle diese drei Standpunkte der Liebe gemeinsam bedeuten Prapatthi (Ergebung). Wenn man seine wahre Freude an dieser Haltung der Ergebung hat, erfährt man die GLÜCKSELIGKEIT des GÖTTLICHEN.

Kitab suci Veda mengajarkan agar manusia menghormati dan memuji Tuhan sebagai ungkapan syukur atas rahmat & anugerah-Nya. Kitab Injil mengajarkan agar manusia berdoa untuk kedamaian dan mempraktekkan sikap kedermawanan. Kitab Al'quran mengajarkan agar manusia menunjukkan sikap welas-asih kepada mereka yang menderita serta menyerahkan kehendak kepada Sang Ilahi. Kitab suci Buddhisme memberikan ajaran tentang ketidak-melekatan dan pengendalian panca indera. Sedangkan kitab suci Zend-Avesta (Zoroastrianisme) mendesak agar manusia menyingkirkan sifat-sifat negatif serta sebaliknya mengembangkan sifat-sifat positif agar dapat tampil cemerlang dalam aspek keilahian yang ada di dalam dirinya sendiri.

En esta vida mundana, el amor se manifiesta de diversas formas, tales como el amor entre madre e hijo, marido y esposa, y entre parientes. Este amor que se basa en relaciones físicas surge de nuestros motivos egoístas y del propio interés. Pero el amor de lo Divino está desprovisto de cualquier traza de interés propio. Es solamente el amor a causa del amor. A esto se le llama Bhakti (devoción). Una característica de este amor es dar y no recibir. En segundo lugar, el amor no conoce el miedo. En tercer lugar, es sólo a causa del amor y no por un motivo egoísta. Estos tres ángulos de amor conjuntamente, llevan en sí Prapatthi (Entrega). Cuando uno goza en esta actitud de Prapatthi, experimenta la bienaventuranza de lo Divino.

Nella vita di questo mondo, l'amore si manifesta in svariati modi come, ad esempio, l'amore di una madre per suo figlio, quello tra moglie e marito, e quello tra parenti. Questo amore basato su relazioni fisiche si manifesta per motivi egoistici e per interessi personali. Ma l'Amore del divino è privo di qualsiasi traccia di interesse personale. E' amore per il piacere dell'amore. Questa si chiama devozione (Bhakti) Una delle caratteristiche di questo amore è quella di dare sempre e mai chiedere. Inoltre questo amore non conosce la paura. E terzo, esiste per l'amore dell'amore e non per motivi egoistici. Queste tre caratteristiche dell'amore, congiuntamente, connotano La Resa ( Prapatthi) Quando si scopre questa attitudine di Prapatthi, si sperimenta la beatitudine del Divino.
