Desire breeds wishes. Wishes cause birth and also death. When man gets rid of desires, he need not go through the cycle of birth and death. Successive births are caused by unfulfilled desires and are determined by them. But, the desire to know God, to love God and to be loved by God is not a desire that binds. When the awareness of God dawns in all its splendour, every worldly desire is reduced to ashes by the burning flames of that awareness. The individual self then merges in the Universal Self and delights in supreme peace.

GÖTTLICHE LIEBE hat ihren Ursprung nicht im Himmelsgewölbe. Sie ist nicht aus der Erde gewachsen. Sie hat keine Geburt und keinen Tod. Sie ist allesdurchdringend. Sie entsteht im Herzen, wenn die Knoten der Unwissenheit aufgelöst sind. Man mag mit verschiedenen Worten den Zustand des Geistes von Gottesergebenen beschreiben, die von Liebe zum Herrn erfüllt sind, aber nicht die Natur der GÖTTLICHEN LIEBE. Sie ist ein Juwel von unschätzbarem Wert, das man nur von GOTT erhalten kann, der die wahrhaftige Verkörperung der Liebe ist.

Ia bersumber dari dalam hati ketika belitan kebodohan batin telah dilepaskan. Engkau boleh memberi berbagai macam nama untuk kondisi batin para bhakta yang telah diisi dengan cinta-kasih kepada Ilahi, namun engkau tidak akan bisa menjelaskan kaidah alamiah dari cinta-kasih Ilahi itu sendiri. Ia laksana permata yang sangat berharga yang hanya bisa diperoleh dari-Nya, yang tiada lain adalah perwujudan cinta-kasih itu sendiri.

El amor Divino no se origina en el firmamento. No brota de la tierra. No nace y muere. Es todo-penetrante. Emerge del corazón cuando se rompen los nudos de la ignorancia. Uno puede describir con varios términos el estado de la mente de los devotos colmados con el amor del Señor, p ero no así la naturaleza del amor divino. Es una gema sin precio que sólo se puede obtener de Dios, que es la mismísima encarnación del amor.
