There was a singing program by the devotees from United States. They sang songs in Sai Kulwant Hall yesterday evening. Both male and female devotees participated in the program. After the event Swami presented all the performers with clothes and all the other devotees were given prasadam of small pouches filled with a Swami's photo, sweets and chocolates etc. We have no pictures of the event only the picture of the pouch that was given as prasadam.

Enduring bliss can be got only by overcoming trials and tribulations. Gold cannot be made into an attractive jewel without being subjected to the process of melting in a crucible and being beaten into the required shape. When I address all of you as Bangaru (gold), I consider you as precious beings. But only by going through the vicissitudes of life with forbearance can you become attractive jewels. You should not allow yourselves to be overwhelmed by difficulties. Develop self-confidence and have firm faith in God. With unshakeable faith, dedicate yourselves to the service of your fellowmen and lead exemplary lives.

Bongkahan emas tidak bisa begitu saja dirubah menjadi perhiasan yang menawan tanpa melalui serangkaian proses peleburan dan pemukulan. Ketika Aku memanggilmu sebagai Bangaru (emas), itu berarti Aku menanggapmu sebagai mahluk (manusia) yang sangat berharga. Namun engkau baru akan menjelma menjadi 'perhiasan' yang indah setelah engkau sanggup melalui aneka ragam pasang surut kehidupan ini dengan penuh kesabaran. Janganlah engkau membiarkan dirimu terseret oleh kesulitan-kesulitan itu. Kembangkanlah keyakinan terhadap dirimu sendiri dan milikilah keyakinan yang kuat kepada-Nya. Sembari berpegang erat pada nilai-nilai keyakinan itu, dedikasikanlah dirimu dalam tindakan pelayanan kepada sesamamu dan jadilah contoh (teladan) yang baik.
