Desire breeds wishes. Wishes cause birth and also death. When man gets rid of desires, he need not go through the cycle of birth and death. Successive births are caused by unfulfilled desires and are determined by them. But, the desire to know God, to love God and to be loved by God is not a desire that binds. When the awareness of God dawns in all its splendour, every worldly desire is reduced to ashes by the burning flames of that awareness. The individual self then merges in the Universal Self and delights in supreme peace.

Sehnsucht ruft Wünsche hervor. Wünsche verursachen Geburt und auch Tod. Wenn der Mensch die Sehnsüchte loswird, braucht er den Kreislauf von Geburt und Tod nicht zu durchlaufen. Aufeinanderfolgende Geburten werden von unerfüllten Wünschen hervorgerufen und von ihnen bestimmt. Aber die Sehnsucht GOTT zu verstehen, GOTT zu lieben und von GOTT geliebt zu werden, ist keine Sehnsucht, die fesselt. Wenn das Bewußtsein von GOTT in all seinem Glanz anbricht, wird jede weltliche Sehnsucht durch die brennenden Flammen dieses Bewußtseins zu Asche reduziert. Das individuelle Selbst verschmilzt dann mit dem UNIVERSALEN SELBST und erfreut sich höchsten Friedens.

Keinginan (desires) menghasilkan wishes (harapan). Kelahiran dan kematian ditimbulkan oleh harapan-harapan tersebut. Ketika manusia sanggup menyingkirkan keinginan-keinginannya, maka ia tak akan terjebak lagi dalam siklus kelahiran dan kematian. Kelahiran terjadi oleh karena masih adanya keinginan yang belum terealisasikan dan kehidupan manusia dipengaruhi olehnya. Akan tetapi, keinginan untuk mengenal Tuhan, mencintai-Nya dan dicintai oleh-Nya, semuanya itu bukanlah tergolong sebagai keinginan yang menjerat (manusia). Ketika kesadaran Ilahi telah terbit secara cemerlang (di dalam diri manusia), maka segala bentuk keinginan duniawi akan terbakar habis oleh lidah api yang dihasilkan oleh kesadaran agung tersebut. Pada saat itu, jiwa individu telah bergabung ke dalam Jiwa universal dan bermandikan kedamaian tertinggi.

Los nacimientos sucesivos son causados por deseos incumplidos y son determinados por ellos. Pero, el deseo de conocer a Dios, amar a Dios y ser amado por Dios no es un deseo que ata. Cuando el conocimiento de Dios alborea en todo su esplendor, cada deseo mundano es reducido a cenizas por las llamas ardientes de ese conocimiento. Entonces, el ser individual se funde con el Ser Universal y se deleita en la paz suprema.

Le nascite successive sono causate dai desideri non realizzati e determinate da essi. Ma il desiderio di conoscere Dio, amare Dio ed essere amati da Dio non è un desiderio che lega. Quando la consapevolezza di Dio spunta in tutto il suo splendore, ogni desiderio mondano viene ridotto in cenere dalla fiamma ardente di quella consapevolezza e il Sé individuale si fonde nel Sé Universale e si delizia nella suprema pace.
