Om Sai Ram, Baba appeared as a young fakir in Shirdi. Then he disappeared for some time. He again came to shirdi with Chand Patil. The marriage party alighted at the foot of a banyan tree near Khandoba temple. Mhalsapati welcomed him saying YA SAI. Henceforth Baba came to be known as SAI BABA. Sai word can be split in two different parts i.e "Sa" meaning Sakar and "i" meaning ishwar. Sakar further means in the bodily form and ishwar means God. Thus the spiritual meaning of Sai is GOD IN BODILY FORM. Anant Koti Brahmand Nayak Raja Thi Raj Yogi
