In this mundane world full of complexities of life does a Sai devotee

need to take support of astrology?

Astrologer can at best predict future in a limited way. Baba helps

actively and actually. Once you have surrendered to Him He takes care,

reduces pain and increases happiness and evolves the souls. Keep His

teachings and life history in mind. See Him in happiness and

unhappiness both. See Him in mundane and spiritual both. Allow Him to

work on you by keeping Him always in your heart.

Sairam Brothers/Sisters.

Astrology is one of the Six Parts of Veda.(shad-Angas, Eyes-Jyothism). Swami has always delivered many messages one to one and need not to be taken for all as granted. Again some of the swamys messages for common. So the formulae is not just straight. Swamy sees Rahukalam, which eveybody knows. Astrology is very helpful and anything which is ritual based, the auspicious time has to be fixed. Without astrological/astronomical, the fixation of time is not possible (Muhurtham).

May be there are very few competent, well disciplined astrologers, generally dont come to lime light. Its a science, and astrology requires studying the planets over a period of time and its influence over the entire creatures on earth.

A right seeker with lots of faith in Veda, will surely get a right astrologer or He will learn it, and it will come on his way.

Finally, if you are taking Swamys feet in full faith, 24x7, then you dont need anything, even Vedas. People with somewhat little belief in everything, has to have right approach for every Subject whether its astrology or maths.

Thats my humble opinion as a small time astrologer.

We are so blessed to have Swami with us who can even erase or modify what Brahma has written in our fate when we were born (swami's resurrections are an extreme testimony for this fact)....i remember one shivaratri when swami was going around showing the lingam that just came from Him...swami said ... " look inside..u can see shiva in the lingam " .... i was lost in divine thoughts for the rest of the time... thinking that here we have someone from whom shiva has come out in the lingam and who is now captured in the lingam..... Swami once said in an informal session that to understand Sai Baba there needs to be born another Sai Baba who only can understand this Sai Baba...none else can....

Variety is life. Very few (my opinion) has one pointed worship of a particular form of god.

there is not one suggested path to all. Different paths but reaches the Same Almighty. Variety of minds, tendencies and hence activities too. Individual has to carefully study his characteristics/tendencies and finally start marching towards the sadhana path which he has selected.

Bhakthi and surrender is the easiest suggested to the Mass. It doesnt operate on any platform. all what we require is just love Sai and surrender to him all the time. Then he will take care and lead us. (still there will be lot of tests will be given by him to see our determination)

No path is easy. People who believe in the Creation (Pravritti Marga), can undergo a careful study and positive approach of any subject. There too we need to surrender ourself to the action, then the subject will be revealed to us in a right perspective.

Whether its inward approach (journey towards our own soul - Nivritti marga) or outward approach (the glory of creation and enjoyment - Pravritti Marga), It has emerged and sustained by Himself alone.
