Guest guest
“DEATH” could occur any moment. If the person destined to die on a particular moment no body can stop him/her. It is a common routine task for every being on this earth. Let me recall the words said by Bhagawan he pronounced the word JAGATH ( the world) ; then he split the word in two as JA & GATH. Ja – means coming Gath- means going. We are part and parcel of this world that is JAGAT and when we have come to this world through parents destined to die on any particular time, also swami emphasising about death and re birth in one of the speeches as to bear the Dharma in mind and do rightful thing in our lives to over come the short fall in living. He also shown elderly people who are staying in Prasanthi are the best examples living hail and healthy for a longer time because of their services towards Swami. Hence, the good deeds would result us to live more years from the Grace of God. Hence, God’s grace is important to live for longer life. If we tend to do our dharma in an accurate way we would bound to get good birth and good health in this life. Then we will get doubt what is Dharma, what Bhagawan says is our Dharama, that is why he highlighted the Four F’s and Three D’s. We always should think that we are an actor in a Divine Drama and the Director is Swami himself. The action in this birth should be in tune with the divine director. As how the actor strives very had to get applaud from audience, our character and good works should be built up to make an exemplary living. Need to uphold the ancient Dharma as envisaged by our Lord. If we tend to die inspite of all these at early hours, then that is also play taking a role from one drama and just substituting us in another. From the above if we tend to follow HIM he will take care of us, will definitely guide us to come out from the word called death and will give us Amrutatvah. That is why he calls us “Divyatma Swaroopas”- (Embodiment of Divine Atmas). That word itself will call us that we are not this body and we came from him and ultimately should rejoin him. That is why we also should develop the Awareness as said earlier by our brother. Jai Sai Ram KRK RAO On Behalf Of jan 03 April 2007 12:57 Re: [sBOI-post] Re: deathing Sairam, I cannot quote any references. But what I believe from the depth of my heart I can share and request your opinion. NO one can predict the moment of death but can gracefully move towards death. Assisting another at the time of death is also predictable only on a very few occasions like prolonged illness or so - when the physical vehicle has become uncertain of continued existence. In both the occasions whether it is the subject or the person desiring to help, name smaran is prescribed in all the religious codes. Especially for sai devotees, chanting the name of sai and keeping the mind full of sai is ideal. But, it is very difficult to predict the time of death for anyone and hence CONTINUOUS NAMA SMARAN IS spoken of. Sai Bhagawan had some time ago spoken of Constant Integrated Awareness - always remembering the Divine and making every action a samarpan to the Divine - while rolling the name of the Divine in the heart - whether it is physical toil or mental work or waiting for sleep to come. That way, when Death is imminent, by practice, the name of the Divine as also the Form of the Divine, whatever may be the religion we belong to, is continuously reviewed in the mind. When the mind is so fully engaged, there is no chance for any fear or memory of past errors to lead the so called soul or atma to a wrong area. When constant awareness is on the Divine, the outcome is certain and the person is a blessed one. Please correct me, I have only expressed my faith.
