Guest guest
Sai Ram Dear Brothers and Sisters, (continued from posting no.12) In regard to Sanchita Karmas , the moment the fire of Knowledge manifests itself, the whole stock in the form of reserves disappears. The man of knowledge comes to realize his aloofness from body, mind and Intellect, even though going through the experiences brought about by Prarabda fail to produce any unhealthy reactions like joy and grief on his mind. In this way, his Prarabda karam also gets extinct so far as he is concerned. As regards the Agami Karmas, they do not leave any impressions at all on a man of knowledge. in as much as he no longer entertains the feeling of doership or possessorship; hence such actions cease to be actions( karma) at all. Thus all his actions(karmas) are all neutralised. And when actions are neutralized , they can not bear fruit. In the abscence of any latencies(vasanas) of past actions, his mind can no longer be subject to modifications like attractions and repulsions ,joy and grief( Dwandas) etc. etc. Therefore, along with his karmas all morbid feelings and all fruits of karmas also become extinct. We are what we have made ourselves . We suffer for what we have done. We reap what we sow . The fault is not in our stars but in ourselves. Every act works out its destiny. Man evolves himself exactly according to his actions. With Loving SAI RAMs, G.Balasubramanian
