Nonetheless, your publishing this photograph highlighiting half naked hungry children of India - our Motherland reflects lack of true and matured knowledge of the economic conditions of our country. It presents a biased presentation of facts. What prompted you to select this article. It smacks of old British Colonial Rule of early 19th century. I remember having seen such a nefarious publicity appeal by some mischief mongers in some parts of West Europe. How you initiated this in India? Inviting donations for bhookhe children of our country is shameful and you must not take up such a project in hand if you are a true Sai devotee. It was not my intention to select any particular country to highlight the universal predicament of the poor and the needy. This is an article which I came across through one of our Sai . It was not initiated by me and I do not have any personal attachment to this website. Neither have I solicited for donations for the said website - I had merely attached an excerpt to answer a question put forward to me by a Sai sister. (Kindly refer to the emails enclosed.) If you had read the FAQs in Bhookh.com, this is a totally FREE service. If you had clicked the "Give Free Food" button (which would have cost you not a single cent at all), you will have seen the list of names of the sponsors who will be paying for this service. If this is a 'nefarious publicity appeal by some mischief mongers' as you had claimed, I am sure that the multinational networks such as Gmail.com, .com, Hotmail.com, Google.com, MSN.com, etc., would not have consented to be any part of it.I do agree that this article on Bhookh does not have any connection to Sai but it does provide an opportunity for our members to practice Sai teachings daily - that is, to feed the poor and the hungry, regardless of race or religion. Hopefully, this mechanism which begins with just 'clicking a button' today, will, in the near future, materialize into physical selfless services by all of our Sai members in their respective communities.Even our Lord, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, takes upon Himself the task of reaching out to those in need.
