Guest guest
Thought for the day as written at Prasanthi Nilayam March 5th, 2007 Today people have little sense of gratitude. Even if you get a little help from anyone, you should always remember it and be grateful to them. However, unfortunately, some people go to the extent of harming those who help them. Such people are the worst sinners. Do not be a Kritaghna (ungrateful). There is a mantra in Suryanamaskara that says, “Kritaghnaghnaya namah” (salutations to the sun who punishes the ungrateful). What is the significance of this? Hurting someone who has helped you will result in losing your eyesight. It is the radiance of the sun that is reflected in man’s eyes. All that you see is through the reflection of the sun’s radiance. The sun withdraws its radiance from the eyes of those persons who commit the sin of ingratitude. Therefore, we should always be grateful. We should return help for help to the utmost extent possible. -SAI BABA Sai news Thought for the day archive 2006 Calendar Pictures Submit your: / Prayer request / Sai experience / Sainews
