Visit to Datta Kshetras-guidance

Dear Devotees

I want to visit the Datta Kshetras at a stretch to complete the visit of 5 Datta Avatars

Pithapuram-Sreepada sree vallabha swamy

Ganugapur-Sree Narasimha saraswathy swamy

Narsobavadi-Sree Narasimha saraswathi swamy

Sangamam - Sree Narasimha saraswathi swamy(Bheema-Amaraja rivers)

Akkalkot -Swamy Maharaj

Manikyanagar-Manikyaprabhu darbar

Shiridi -Sainath maharaj

If anybody has visited all these places ,may please guide me the rail road routes and stay.I would like to do the parayana of the Guru charitra at these places and like to spend one night at each place.

I am from Visakhapatnam, I only know about Pithapuram and Shirdi.

Dear Sai Bandhu Sri Ramanarao garu,

 

Sai Ram. While appreciating your samkalpam, may I add that there are some more

famous Datta Kshetras that you should consider covering. Mahurgad, Girnar,

Karanja, Kolhapur, Gokarna (where Sri Guru stayed for a few years and whose

importance has been highly praised in Sri Guru Charitra). There are a few more.

 

Manikyanagar is near Humnabad on the Hyderabad - Mumbai Road route. Fro there

you can continue by road to Gulbarga and from there to Ganagapur. Ganagapur Road

is on Gulbarga - Sholapur route on the Hyderabad - Mumbai railway line.

Ganagapur is 20 km from the Ganagapur Road railway station.

 

Sangamam is near Ganagapur only, just 6 kms from Ganagapur temple.

 

Akkalkot is also on the same route but is closer to Sholapur. It is 70 km by

road from Ganagapur and there are buses, or you can go by train from Ganagapur

Road to Akkalkot Road since there are passenger trains.

 

Narsobavadi is near Kolhapur / Miraj and the Panchaganga is also there. It is

possible to go there from Sholapur / Pune. Gokarna is on the western India coast

and can be reached from Kolhapur by road.

 

You may find it difficult to cover all of them in one stretch. Also some of them

are better accessed by road as mentioned.

Start from Vizag & go to Pithapuram first.Stay in the Ashramam there & return to Rajahmundry and take the train to Bombay.Get off either at Gulbarga or KSHETRA GANGAPUR stations & then visit Gangapur.There are Ashramams & hotels there or you can stay in Gulbarga town & go to Gangapur by bus (30kms).From Gangapur,you can travel by road to Akkalkpt which is 80 kms & Audumbarwadi which is 120 kms from Akkalkot.From there you can go by road to NRUSIMHA WADI which is 80 kms away.After visiting Nrusimha Wadi return to Gulbarga/Gangapur by the same road & travel to Manikya Nagar which is near Humnabad on the way to Hyderabad.Once in Hyderabad,you can travel by train/bus to Shirdi.From Shirdi get back to Pune/Bombay & pproceed by train to Junagadh in Saurashtra & from there take a taxi to Girnar & climb the 10,000 steps & see

the Datta Temple.THIS IS A MUST.Then return back to Hyderabad & go to Makhtal in Mahboobnagar Dist (on the way to Raichur).Get off at Makhtal & proceed by auto/jeep/bus to Paspalla/Panch pahad,cross the Krishna River & reach KURVAPUR where SRI PADA SRI VALLABHA's ancient temple & padukas are there.Return back to Hyd & then proceed to Adilabad by bus & from there on go to MAHUR (70kms away) where there is Anasuya Devi,Renuka Devi & Dattatreya temples.Lord Dutta sleeps here in the nights.Once you have seen all these you are almost through with most important Dutta kshetras in this part of the country.There are many more in Markapur,Hyderabad,Mysore,Vijayawada & Goa.dr.p.r.k.prasad--- On Wed, 8/7/09, ramanarao kothuri <vrrkothuri wrote:ramanarao kothuri

If you have visited the above could you please suggest me also how to reach the above by grouping the near ones i.e if we go to gangapur we can cover the places like akkalkot etc as they are near. Since i am not planning to cover all these in single stretch
