Swami...My time with You was so very precious...For years I have sat amongst the thousandsNever having any opportunityTo come near YouOr speak to You.So when the day finally arrivedMy mind was in turmoil"Will He see me? Will He accept me?Oh, please don't let me falter!"Then from afar I caught a glimpseYour saffron robe ever so familiarYou passed by me, our eyes metYet once again there was no sign.

When my name was calledI almost ran to YouYour face lit up with a smileWhile You beckoned to me

My heart burst with joyAs I offered a flower to YouYou held it momentarilyThen gifted it back to me.

As I accepted the rose from YouA leaf dropped down onto Your robe"Should I pick it up?" I wonderedA thought came that I should not.

I was speechless by Your gestureSo unprepared for Your LoveThen I showed You my bookWhile You listened graciously.

When I asked for Your blessingsYou smiled and noddedYour Divine Hand reached outTo sanctify the books of Love.

My tears were almost flowingAs I bent down to kiss Your FeetMy heart sighed with utmost gratitudeAs my head reached its' Divine Home.

Swami...Thank you so very much for Your Love...

Adeline, sweet sister of Sai, thank you for sharing that with us. I'm feel very blessed and joyful for your precious moment with our Lord Sai. We are all ONE in the body of Sai. Your joy is our joy.

That tender exchange reminds me of the saying ... God gives you the gift of life ...

What you make of that life is your gift back.

The fallen petal left behind is you, your soul. You will never leave him, nor He you.

Swami...

My time with You was so very precious...

For years I have sat amongst the thousands

Never having any opportunity

To come near You

Or speak to You.

So when the day finally arrived

My mind was in turmoil

"Will He see me? Will He accept me?

Oh, please don't let me falter!"

Then from afar I caught a glimpse

Your saffron robe ever so familiar

You passed by me, our eyes met

Yet once again there was no sign.

When my name was called

I almost ran to You

Your face lit up with a smile

While You beckoned to me

My heart burst with joy

I love your very thoughtful, deep, meanigful messages with beautiful photos, showered by Sai Baba's love and guidance on life and meaning of life. I always make it a point to read your poems and prose. This poem on meeting SaiBaba is also a very beautiful one.

With SaiBaba's love always to all.
