April 13th 8:30 pm - Tamil New Year celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi

Many devotees and guest were here in Puttaparthi for the Tamil New Year

celebrations. One of the guests was Actor Rajnikanth who was here to

receive Swamiï¿½s blessing on this special day.

In

the evening there were special programs to celebrate the event. Swami

gave a Divine discourse and some wonderful messages on this special

day. After the discourse there was a program by devotees from Tamil

Nadu about the water project that Sathya Sai Organization is doing in

Tamil Nadu. It was a wonderful program showing how the water project is

helping the people of Tamil Nadu.

Tomorrow is Malayalam New Year which is also called as Vishu. So there will be some more wonderful programs in Puttaparthi.

Many devotees are here in Puttaparthi to celebrate the Tamil

& Malayalam New Year celebrations in the Divine presence of our

Lord Sathya Sai Baba. The Tamil New year is celebrated on January 13th

and Malayalam New Year on 14th.
