SAI THE SUPREME CONSCIOUS...The power House: .......................................... Lord Krishna tells Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita (I am in the world and in the vedas declared as (purusottama) He has returned to declare, : I am the eternal Paramatman. who is aware of the power that I AM, No wonder, Baba asserts, "The power of Sai is limitless, it manifests for

ever. All forms of power are resident in this Sai palm." As in the case with the earlier purna avatar, Sai is cable of all things at all times but He may not demonstrate His powers all the time, at all places, but will wait till the situation and circumstances demand it. "If we doubt His limitless power, it only proves according to Him that we are too weak to graps the great things, the grandeur of the universe." We are like "fish" which cannot guage the sky. The gross can only grapes the gross. The eye cannot see the ear which is so near." There is no limitation to His omnipotence unless He Himself imposes them. Reffering to the omnipotence of the Avatar, Sri Aurobindo says: "Because he chooses to limit or determine his actions by conditions it does not make him less omnipotent. His, self-limitation itself is an act of omnipotence" unlike the case of human being who may happen to acquire some of these powers by spiritual practices. Swami's powers are never diminised or lost however much He uses them for temporal and spiritual welfare of His devotees. This is so because He has not acquired these powers through any

spiritual sadahna, they are the integral part of the Supreme Consciousness manifested as Sai...Moreover, He never uses them for for his personal benefits, as there can be nothing which the Supreme Consciousness does or does notposses. Just like His omnipotence, His omnipresence has also been experienced by Sai devotees time and again. But it His simultaneous presence bothat Manjeri and at Prashanthi Nilayam, or His appreance in far off city to save an army officier from committing suicide, or His sudden appreance in the cockpit of a plane in distress to guide the pilot to a safe landing, or His appreance in a hospital to reassure a patient and cure him or to deliver a woman in labour...instances are many to recount here.
