Happy Ramnavami to all Sai Readers !!!On this auspicious occassion of Ramnavami it has been decided by Baba to release a unique and heart melting hym by Dasganu Maharaj 'Shri Sainath Stavan Manjari' (A Humble Tribute to Shri Sainath).Dasganu Maharaj as we know was enrolled in Baba's darbar and is one of those gems who has conributed greatly to spread the name of our Sai Babaji. No doubt He was picked up by Baba, still his role is note worthy in the history. Santakathamrita (1903), Bhakta Leelamrita (1906) and Bhakta Saramrita (1925) are some of his splendid books.Several compostions of Das Ganu are embodied in Shirdi Arti. 'Shri Sainath Stavan Manjari'(A Humble Tribute to Shri Sainath) was one of Das Ganu's compositions, completed on September 9, 1918 at Maheshwar, near Indore, on the banks of Narmada just 37 days before Baba took Mahasamadhi on October 15, 1918.The theme of this hym of praise of 164 slokas is very

simple. After invoking Ganesh and other deities the tribute to Baba starts subtly in the fifth sloka without naming Him but calling HIm Vishnu and Shankar. Baba is named only in the 13th slok. The persistent plea of Das Ganu to Baba is to cleanse him of His sins and to help him and all devotee to overcome their wordly and spiritual difficulties. Baba is compared to imaginary stone parees which can turn iron into gold.Das Ganu Maharaj attained Samadhi in 1963 on Kartik Ekadashi at the age of 95. His samadhi is at Gortha. Now coming to introduction of the audio version of Sainath Stavan Manjari. As we all are aware that Shirdi Sansthan is publishing this great hym in several languages. It was translated in Gujarati by Swami Sharanandji, another great and dedicated devotee in Baba's times. This hym can be read daily, if not daily then on every Thursday and if not on Thursdays, it must be read on Ekadashi days (eleventh day of full

moon and no moon phase). Keeping this aim in mind Sai devotee Shri Vinod Vashi (Baroda) decided to mould this beautiful creation into audio for the benefit of gujarati Sai Devotees. At present 3000 copies have been made and are being distributed free of cost. To makde it available to gujarati devotees residing all over the world, Sai devotee Shri Vinod Vashi has given permission to post it on blog too.Sai devotee Sai Jyoti (Sanju Baba, Ahmedabad) who performs Sai Satcharitra Parayan in Gujarati in various cities of Gujarat has sung this hym very beautifully. Two of bhajans sung by Sai Devotee Shri Rishabh Mehta in one of his live performance in Surat has also been included apart from Ganesh Stuti, Sai Rehem Najar Karna and Rehem Najar Karo. This album was officially released on March 21, 2009 in Shirdi in front of Baba. Shri Mohan Yadav ji (Public Relation Officer of Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan), Shri Neeraj Kumar ji, Delhi (Maker of Audio of Sai Satcharitra in Hindi, Sai Pooja Archana and Sai Ashtrotranamavali ), Sai devotee Sanju Baba, Shri Ullas Rao (Priest of Samadhi Mandir) are few names present on this occasion.Last but not the least before ending this post and giving you the download link of Sainath Stavan Manjari, I would like to list down contributors to this album, a deed for noble cause. 1.
