Guest guest
Dearest Ashutosh, Aum Sai Ram! I am a end-stage liver disease patient here in San Diego, California USA. I've prayed for Baba's guidance and help for a number of years now. I even requested that my name and request for prayers be added to the monthly parayana group Prayer List to Baba on . Even when I was in Puttaparthy and staying at Prasanthi Nilyam in October 2000, my letters to Baba were not received by Baba. Karma? Since my diagnosis with hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection (which my San Diego doctors' say remains to this day) and end-stage liver cirrhosis in 2002, and my being listed locally for a Liver Transplant in early 2004, nothing seems to have changed. My doctors continue to say the HCV infection remains, and that the end-stage cirrhosis is not better. I am now about to loose my house here (due to the current housing and economic crisis here in USA and my employer forcing me into Extended Leave Without Pay and terminated medical benefits in early 2004). Even now, I am still not considered a "high priority" for Liver Transplant - since there are few donor livers available each year, and so many who are so much closer to death than I am deemed by doctors to be. I just don't know what Karma I have accumulated that would have Baba seem to turn away from me and seemingly ignore my prayers. Perhaps your prayers to Baba on my behalf will be heard? I would really be most appreciative of any and all efforts and assistance you may be able to lend me. He was selected for kidney transplant in Mumbai with his own sister having 96% compatibility gave her kidney for transplant.the graft failed after a week. He again became dialysis dependent. His wife was motivated fortunately; she also had high HLA compatibility. He was again transplanted. But after 6 hours only, he had rejection inspite of all efforts at the best of centre in Mumbai, the graft could not be saved. He again became dialysis dependent. I was involved with the case a trainee. I prayed for him. Just said Sai Baba please save this man. Some how, his cousin appeared, she offered her kidney, fortunately it was compatible. The transplant was done. It was successful. We wanted to follow him up. He had no place to stay in Mumbai. We again prayed for him. Suddenly one country cousin appeared, he was a builder, in suburban area of Mumbai. He said he could provide a flat to him, at the price the soldier could afford. Now, the soldier has retired, he is in his home, fit and fine running small shop. I just say Baba has helped him .My prayers for him has been profusely answered.Ashutosh
