Guest guest
Sai Ram Blissful embodiments of Lord SaiI am still reeling with Bliss over the events of this week. This morning our radiant Baba gave us beautiful Darshan, the mandir was overflowing with devotees pining for a glimpse of the Lord of the Universe. This afternoon, during darshan, Divine Baba allowed a group of male devotees from the rural village area of Andhra Pradesh to perform a folk dance in the Sacred presence. Swami watched the group intently, their devotion and fervor was very inspiring. It's interesting how similar, the dance, music and energy of these simple, innocent village folk are to other aboriginal peoples from all over the earth. The Native American tribes in America, the Sami tribes of Norway, the African and Australian aboriginal tribesmen, all have a very basic, common, unifying expression, in their cultural sounds, rhythms and movements. It even reminded me of some of the churches in the deep South, where the country folk, poetically known as the "salt of the earth" would during a church service, suddenly feel the Holy Spirit coming into them and start to dance, sing and praise God.The natural Spirit and spontaneity of these villagers was so endearing. Precious Swami showered His Grace and Love on them, allowing each man to come up and take padnamaskar and receive white cloth from the divine hands.Recently, when I was standing in line by the cloak room. A young Indian woman queried me about my stay in Parthi. She looked at me with bright, beautiful eyes and asked, "what have you learned here in Prashanti?" I was surprised at her pure and direct questioning, I felt this was certainly Bhagavan inquiring.I thought for a brief moment and responded, "I feel I am learning Unity here."She smiled and nodded her head approvingly. As I contemplated this interaction. My thoughts flashed back to a recent discourse of Bhagavan's in which He stated, that Unity was a prerequisite for Purity and Purity was very necessary before realizing Divinity. Where on earth is the lesson of Unity so exquisitely taught but here in this Holy city, where every nationality, religion, race, philosophy, social class and creed sit, live, eat, breathe and interact together so wondrously!!!??Well the hour grows late dear family, more bliss later.Lots of Premasonya ki
