Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM " Service to man is service to God! " Rukmanee was a born Hindu-Mauritian and a Sai devotee who left Mauritius for Italy in the year 1980. She met her husband, Stefano, a press reporter, in Milan and they got civilly married. In 1982, she went to Parthi with her husband but the latter was not yet a Sai devotee. Baba invited Rukmanee and a group of eleven devotees for an interview; she beckoned to Stefano to follow her but Baba refused to allow Stefano in the interview room. Once they had taken seats in the interview room, Baba came straight to her and said:- "I am going to perform your wedding!" "I am already married, Swami!" she replied "Draupadi was married to five men but none of them was her husband!" Baba intriguingly said. (In the legend of the Bhagavath-Gita, Draupadi was married to the five Pandava brothers) "I want you to be with me!" Baba told her. Then Sri Baba asked her to come and stay in Whitefield; Baba promised her an apartment and even told her the colour the walls would be painted. Later, Bhagawan Baba made arrangements for the wedding of Rukmanee. He sent a lady with a bowl of 'henna' with instructions to apply same to her hands. Her face also was made up like a real Hindu bride with shingar and kumkum, fulfilling the dream she had cherished since a young girl and she was religiously wedded to her civilly married husband, Stefano. The couple then moved to Whitefield in Bangalore where Rukmanee has since been engaged in selfless seva working at the General Hospital. Bhagawan Baba had personally made the needful for her stay in Whitefield where she is now serving the Lord.Jai Sai Ram At the Lotus Feet of SaiAnita
