Guest guest
GOOD FRIDAY – THE DAY OF FORGIVENESS As we are just completing the lent period and approaching the day of Good Friday, we all should understand that this is the day of Forgiveness. The Son of the Father, Lord Jesus has on this very day taught us to forgive everyone’s mistakes. When Lord Himself was prepared to forgive and prayed to Father “Forgive them, Father”, “They do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23). These were the words Lord has prayed to His Father, when he was crucified. At the arms of death when Lord can able to pray for forgiveness of those who were the cause, why cannot we pray for our fellow human? If we have to join the Lord in the journey of spiritual upliftment and attain immortality, let us follow the teachings of Lord from this Holy Friday. Our true way of mourning the crucifixion of Lord and celebration of Easter would be meaningful only when we learn to forgive others mistake and pray of the forgiveness from the Father and Son. Good Friday is not the day of mourning or Easter is not the day of celebration or the lent period does not fetch any meaning unless and otherwise we change ourselves and be prepared to forgive and forget others mistakes and errors. Love thy neighbour is the words of Lord, which means we cannot hate anyone for anything. Let us all pray to our Lord Sai, to guide us in the right direction, first forgive us for all the mistakes that we have done in the past and present. Let us leave everything at the Lotus Feet of Lord Jesus and our Swami Sai and start a new life that would give more joy and happiness to everyone in this world from this Good Friday.
