Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM Dear All, Sri Baba keeps teaching us and warning us about the evil of attachment and the value of detachment; however, we are prepared to learn the lesson only the hard way. The story of the village woman who lost her gold hair ornament in an ox-cart is a constant reminder to people that they should not attach themselves to the material. Be simple! Sri Baba says. Lead a simple life! When Sri Baba was at school, he was a brilliant pupil. To compensate him, his teacher offered a gold pin to him. He lost the pin which he had worn on his shirt. Sri Baba says this was the time when he understood that he should give up all material attachments. Last Friday, at home kirtans, a member of our Youth Wing lost a very expensive and valuable mobile phone cum camera. She and her family were very upset, the family who had received our bhajan mandali was very upset and the whole Sai family was very upset. The precious object has just disappeared and everybody is a suspect! Does Sri Baba again in His Wisdom mean to teach us a lesson in detachment?
