Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM Dear All, We are celebrating Sri Rama Nawami on 23rd of March; however, we have started the preparations with recitals of verses from the Ramayana by the Mahila Wing of our local Sai centre. Children are also told the stories of Lord Rama and the victory of good over evil as we all know that Lord Rama is Our Sweet Baba reincarnated. Lord Rama imparted His teachings of Truth, Love, Peace and Righteousness to the world in the various dialogues with Hanuman, his brothers, his mothers, his Beloved Sia, the Sages and others. Moreover, His life was His message and is still a message for us in the Kaliyuga. He marched with an army of monkeys to destroy the demons. His weapon was the bow and the arrow. In this age, the Lord of Parthi, Our Sai Rama, too is a teacher of Truth, Love, Peace and Righteousness. His Life is His message. He has an army too; His army is made up of His devotees; Baba’s weapon and the weapon which He has placed between the hands of His devotees is the PEN. The pen is mightier than the sword as the saying goes. The pen which Our Sai Rama uses to write His books and His messages and the pen that His devotees use to write about Baba’s messages and their experiences are the weapons that are being used to-day to destroy the demons. The demons here are jealousy, promiscuity, anger, hatred, violence, envy and all other demons that may possess the mind of Man from time to time. No man is evil. However, we must reckon that at times the mind of man is submerged by the devil in the guise of temptation. When they were living in the forest, Sita one day, saw a stag of gold colour. Marvelled at the sight, like an adolescent, she insisted with Rama to run after the stag and to bring it to her as a pet. Lord Rama was so full, so very full of love for his Sia that he complied with her wish. Unfortunately, the stag was a demon in disguise who wanted to lure Rama away from Sita. In the absence of Rama, the demon came back, kidnapped Sita and took her to a far away land. Pure Love always triumphs! The demon was not able to touch, nor even come close to the Sia of Rama because each time the demon made a move towards Sita, tongues of flames rose from the earth around her like an armour. The flames were in reality the immense Love of Rama for Sita which was protecting and guarding her from the grip of the demon. Rama finally marched over the seas with an army of monkeys; he destroyed the demon and rescued his Beloved. However, Premaswarupa, Sita was never alone with the demon in the foreign land; her Rama was residing in her heart. Jaya Sri Ram! Jaya Sri Sai Ram!
