Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM The Ramayana Epic is the greatest Love story ever told in the history of the whole world. Romeo and Juliette, Heer Ranjha, Laila Majnu to name a few modern love stories are mere spectres compared to the magnificence of the Love story of Lord Rama and Mata Sita. Many married couples to this day live the same love story and this is what Bhagawan Baba is teaching to our youth- to live a life of Pure Love which culminates with happiness in marriage. Marriage is a sacred institution which must be protected and safe guarded. Obstacles in married life are quite common; no married life is a bed of roses. How do we protect our married life? - The Ramayana is the Sia Rama Tatva- the Supreme Truth. Lord Rama was married to the beautiful Princess Sita. They left their palace to live in the forest at the request of King Dasrath, Lord Rama’s dad. One day, a female demon by the name of Menaka saw the celestial couple in the forest. She was stunned by the beauty of Sita. She became very jealous. Simultaneously the equal splendour of Lord Rama filled her demoniac heart with uncontrollable lust. Menaka decided to use all her devilish means to seduce Lord Rama. She rushed to the nearest hair dresser to trim, shampoo and blow dry her dull, sticky hair; she called on a beautician to wax her whole body which was covered with hairs like an animal and she painted her black lips with red lipstick and her ugly face with saffron powder. Donned in beautiful garments and bedecked with jewellery, she went out to conquer the heart of Bhagawan Rama. Remember, Premaswarupa, Prince Laskman, the brother of Lord Rama had accompanied his Bhaya and his Bawji to the forest too. He saw Menaka displaying her evil manoeuvres in the presence of his dear, beloved brother. Without a second thought, he got hold of an arrow and in one blow, like a true Ksattriya, he hacked the nose of the female demon. Of course, other demons immediately rushed to the rescue of Menaka and hence, followed the rapt of Mother Sita by King Ravana, the brother of Menaka and the battle (also called Fire in Lankha) which destroyed the kingdom of the Demon King and all his likes.
