Guest guest
Swami confers his bliss on all of us who remember him, utter his or any divine name, do loving service to others and sacrifice the selfishness that is inherent in most of us. Ego is the most difficult thing to dispense with. We had long association with the multitudes of bodies in which we existed since the begining. In each such birth, we retain a minute quality pertaining to the particular body.We resent, that many human beings exhibit animal tendencies. It is nothing but the residue of our previous births. Hence, we need to exert utmost care to get rid of such animal tendencies. In this Kaliyuga, the most suitable and easiest way, is to remember the name of Divine and his form in the mind.Constant rememberence of Divine name removes the impurities in our inner realm and enable us to become pure and holy. Hence always utter the name of Hari, who has incarnated for our sake amidst us as "Sai". Sairam.
Guest guest
Hari,It is simple to say 'ha ri'. As it is very simple, I had not realised the greatness of hari nama. Many opportunities - made use of - to chant 'hari' without understanding the significance.Casually I came upon a book "Aparokshanubhuti' or 'self realisation' by Shri Sankara Bhagavatpadapublished by Ramakrishna Math, I was stunned to read the first sloka - SRI HARIM PARAMANANDAM UPADESHTARAM EASWARAM; VYAPAKAM SARVALOKANAM KAARANAM THAM NAMAMYAHAM -MEANING THAT "I WORSHIP SRI HARI, THE DESTROYER OF IGNORANCE, THE SUPREME BLISS, THE FIRST TEACHER, EASWARA, THE ALL PERVADING ONE ANDTHE CAUSE OF ALL LOKAS' - When Sankara Bhagavatpada himself, the greatest Advaitin starts a monumental work with the words "Sri Hari", it is sufficient to start chanting Ha ri.Bhagawan hit the nail on the head when he instructed on 24 05 2008 during which speech (Sanathana Sarathi July 08 ed)to choose any of the two letter divine namas - Rama / Krishna / Siva / Hari and go on chanting the same. Now your loving message on the same If I do not yet start chanting Hari, of what use is my birth?Hari Om,sadhujagsairam232003 <sairam232003 Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2008 2:00:25 PM Chant the name of Hari.
