Baija Ma and Baba.

Baija Ma is an innocent mother who had ample love towards Sai. None were aware of the deep bond that existed between Baija Ma and Sai. Her love towards Sai has brought much blessings to Tatya, her son. Tatya used to call Baba as "Mama". He treated Sai as his own uncle and Sai too reciprocated the same and kept him in the mosque alongwith Mahlsapathi. They used to talk about all things and chitchat upto well past midnight. If anybody is found sleepy, He will shake them so that they will remain awake. Baba used to ask Mahlsapathy to keep his palm over his chest to listen the beat of Namajapa. But Mahlsapathy used to doze soon and his hands will weight like stones. Baba never sleeps. He utters "namajapa" solely for the sake of his own devotees. Day and night he used to take much concern over the welfare of His devoted children. When Tatya was laid up with high fever during the Dusserah time during 1918, many thought that his end is coming near. On vijayadasami day, his pulse was very low. But suddenly a transformation took place. Baba passed away on the fateful day of Vijayadasami on 15 Oct.1918 around 2.30pm.People thought Baba gave life to Tatya Patel who was destained to die on the day as previously foretold by Baba to two devotees. Tatya became well but Baba took Mahasamadhi on that day. Sairam.
